Depending on the room you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: king-size bedding, private bathroom with large shower, luxury skincare products, air conditioning, map system, Nespresso coffee machine, generously-stocked minibar, Smart TV with Netflix, JBL Flip 5 Bluetooth speaker and complimentary water.
In the morning, breakfast is served in the very bright dining room. We have rarely seen such a good and well supplied breakfast! There are 5 possible menus: from 6€ to 30€ per person. On the menu: gingerbread, bread, cold cuts, cheese plate, homemade jam, fresh orange juice, homemade granola, real hot chocolate, fresh yogurt, scrambled eggs, fish, fresh shrimps, smoothie and champagne.
The b&b website promotes short circuits and local products. Taste the Westhoek terroir! Cheeses are produced at the Beauvoordse Walhoeve farm, just outside Furnes. Charcuterie comes from a traditional butcher's shop nearby. Fish and fresh shrimps come from a fishmonger a few hundred meters away. Even the coffee is roasted in Ostend.
At lunchtime and in the evening, it is possible to reserve a table at the restaurant. Succulent local cuisine with local products in short circuit. Madam is in the kitchen while Mister is in the dining room.
La Panne is surrounded by the beach and beautiful nature reserves. It's an ideal setting for walking and cycling. You can explore the vast Westhoek reserve, the Cabour dunes and the Oosthoek dunes. You can also enjoy the peace and quiet of the Calmeynbos, a dune forest with clear signposts. Finally, don't miss the architectural gems of the Belle Époque in the protected Dumont district.
