De Witte Lelie is a dazzling 4* boutique hotel located in the center of Antwerp, Flanders, Belgium. Every space here is a feast for the eyes. Watch this video on Instagram to discover the lounge or this one on TikTok to discover one of the 10 rooms.
We advise you to book your stay at De Witte Lelie in advance. You can also find accommodation on Booking or even discover the best-rated romantic hotels.
The hotel is housed in a trio of 17th century white gabled buildings in the center of Antwerp, near the old town. You have to ring the intercom to get in. The lobby is spacious, with its black-and-white checkerboard floor, crystal chandelier, and large red plush sofa. The interior design is maximalist and charming, by Ann Dierick.
There are only 10 rooms and suites, each with its own style. Depending on your choice, you will have the following amenities: queen or king size bedding from Treca, exceptionally soft linens, whitewashed walls, complimentary minibar, exposed beams, air conditioning, flat screen TV, Hermes hospitality products, and a bathroom with bathtub and/or shower from Bisazza.
We really like the room n°9 with its Marylin Monroe wallpaper, its pink glass fish and its enamelled tin bathtub. And the room n°10 is not bad either with its fluorescent pink mirror designed for selfies and its private tiled balcony.
The hotel staff is very attentive and speaks at least 3 languages: Dutch, French and English. They are always ready to help you with a smile.
In the morning, breakfast is served in the dining room lit with candles or in the flowered courtyard when the weather is nice. On the menu: fresh bread, pastries, salmon, freshly squeezed orange juice, omelette, coffee and tea. The quality is there!
During the day, you can enjoy a drink in the outdoor courtyard or in one of the 2 velvet lounges, one of which has a fireplace. In the evening, head to the Bronze Bar, which has a chic and inviting atmosphere. There is a wide selection of cocktails, champagnes, wines and soft drinks.
De Witte Lelie is located in the heart of Antwerp, at about 8 min walk from the Cathedral Notre-Dame, in a quiet street. There is a private underground parking. The city is a gem to visit with its many medieval streets. Discover thousands of master paintings in the Royal Museum of Fine Arts and the Rubens House.
If you have 3-4 hours to spare, plan a visit to the Museum aan de Stroom (the MAS): an exciting anthropological museum dedicated to the city. It is located at the edge of the Bonaparte Basin, in the old port. The architecture of the building is fantastic: a 62 meter high tower made of Indian red sandstone. The collection of pre-Columbian objects on the top floor alone is worth a visit.
