In films and in the collective imagination, Land Rovers have always represented adventure, discovery and exoticism! It doesn't matter if they cross deserts, jungles or beaches, they pass everywhere without difficulty. The model here is a 3 series that dates back to 1980 and is called Maurice.
When you arrive at the château, you'll receive a personalized welcome before setting off on your own. Communication is possible in French, Dutch, German, English or Spanish.
You take your place in the car and off you go, Maurice! You can only drive within the castle's private grounds, and only as far as your campsite for the night. There is only one place to stop and camp, to preserve the surrounding nature.
The park is, of course, private. The castle is permanently inhabited and is about a 15-minute walk from your campsite. Christophe, the owner, can be reached by phone throughout your stay if needed. He lives 10 minutes by car from the castle.
Everything is provided in the car: bed for sleeping, water supply, awning, cooler, table, chairs and cooking equipment. As soon as you arrive, you can set the table and build a fire! Toilets are also available nearby. At the end of the evening, you can return to your comfortable bed in the back of the car, complete with bedside lamps and everything you need for a wonderful night's sleep.
In the morning, wake up to the sound of birdsong and enjoy your breakfast. Breakfast is included in your booking. Then all you have to do is drive the car back to the castle to round off this great adventure. In any case, we hope you'll spend the whole night chatting by the fire. It's the perfect way to get away from it all.
