The Hotel Saint-Louis Pigalle is a charming 3* hotel ideally located in the Pigalle-Montmartre district of Paris. The Sacré-Coeur and Moulin Rouge are just a few minutes' walk away. It's a historic place, very respectful of French heritage, with an elegant fleur-de-lis as its emblem.

Our overnight stay here went extremely well. What we liked best: the very strategic location, the value for money, the friendliness of the staff and our private balcony with a magnificent view of the Eiffel Tower.
On site, you can arrive as early as 2 p.m., which is relatively rare and very pleasant. The atmosphere inside is as romantic as you could wish. The dining room is on your left as you enter, while reception is directly opposite.
The hotel houses 18 rooms and 6 suites spread over 6 floors. Depending on your choice, you'll enjoy the following amenities: queen or king size bed, private bathroom with shower and/or bathtub, Horus faucets, welcome products from The Botanist & The Chemist, Farrow & Ball (British paint manufacturer) colors and solid oak flooring.
Some tips on rooms:
- If you'd like a view of the Eiffel Tower, choose the Prestige Top Floor Suite (n°601) or the Prestige Top Floor room.
- 3 rooms and 2 suites offer private balconies
- Suite Prestige n°601 is the only one with a bathtub in the bathroom.
- If you want more peace and quiet, ask for a courtyard room.
Every morning, breakfast is served as a buffet from 7.30am to 10.30am. On the menu: fresh bread, pastries, fruit juices, a variety of cereals, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheeses and eggs prepared according to your preferences.
The hotel is ideally located in the lively Pigalle district, close to Montmartre and Batignoles. Rue Fromentin (where the hotel is located) is named after Eugène Fromentin, a 19th-century French writer and painter, famous for his travel writings and Orientalist paintings.
During the day, we recommend you check out the Pigalle Duperré Playground in the neighborhood. A colorful, ultra-stylish basketball court. It's like being in New York! The most beautiful court in Paris and undoubtedly one of the most beautiful courts in France.
Nearby, we also like the "Mur des je t'aime" occupying a wall in Square Jehan-Rictus, on Place des Abbesses. Here's our on-the-spot photo. It's a 40m² mural made up of 612 glazed lava tiles reproducing 311 "I love you's" in 250 languages, some of them rare and forgotten. The splashes of red that dot the fresco represent the pieces of a broken heart just waiting to be reformed.
In the evening, we tried out and loved a little restaurant a little higher up: Le Matré. Another idea is Bouillon Pigalle, which offers a very typical Parisian experience. Finally, to extend the evening, don't miss the prettiest old cinema in Paris, not far away: Studio 28. A single room with real red armchairs and charm.
