Les Grottes de Han invites you on a wild journey to the origins of the world. During your stay, spend the night in one of the estate's unusual accommodations, discover one of Europe's most beautiful caves and admire over 650 animals in the animal park! The estate is located in Rochefort, in the Province of Namur, Belgium.
Mention Let's Go My Love after booking on our partner's official website and get a free benefit to choose from:
1. A complimentary aperitif board + 2 glasses of cava at Le Pavillon restaurant OR
2. A Tree Experience course for 2 people with an impressive 140-meter zip line
Once you've booked your stay, send a short e-mail to Joëlle (our local contact), mentioning Let's Go My Love and the benefit of your choice. Important: the benefit is only valid for the Cocoon Village, not for the Tree Tents.
When you book, you can choose between 2 experiences: the Cocoon Village, which houses around 30 tents in a green setting (from €190 for 2 people), and the Tree Tents, which are 8 tents in the trees (from €399 for 2 people).
At Cocoon Village, the price includes: accommodation, unlimited access to the Grotto and the Animal Park, a discovery basket with local produce, a country-style breakfast and numerous advantages on the estate. Good to know: 6 tents have been specially designed for couples. These are set in a quiet location. If you book via Let's Go My Love, these tents will be given priority.
For Tree Tents, the price includes: accommodation, unlimited access to the Grotto and the Animal Park, a full meal on the evening of your arrival (aperitif, barbecue meal, drinks and desserts), country-style breakfast and an exclusive walk with a Ranger in the Valley. A true wilderness experience.
During the day, a visit to the caves is a real highlight. It's a journey to the center of the earth to discover a wealth of geological treasures. From the very first moment, you're in for a magical experience: huge, draped halls, an illuminated bridge, a grandiose show with sound and light effects, and the Lesse (a river) that occasionally invites itself along your path.
In the park, discover some 650 animals in their natural habitat, including the European "Big Five": bison, wolf, brown bear, lynx and wolverine. At the heart of your exploration, don't miss the Gouffre de Belvaux, where the river Lesse penetrates the limestone rock, the phenomenon that gave rise to the Grottes de Han. Here's a map to help you find your way around.
Last but not least, exclusive tours deserve your full attention, especially for lovers. These tours take place outside normal opening hours. Don't hesitate to check the agenda on our partner's website.
Here are our 4 favourite visits:
1. Moonlight: listen to the sounds of the night and feel the mysterious atmosphere of the park by night.
2. Candlelight Concert: take part in an enchanting concert 110 meters underground, with a candlelit concert hall.
3. In search of the lost river: follow a ranger through the cave and its most secret nooks and crannies.
4. Hanlloween: take a moonlit stroll through the park, in the heart of the dark and mysterious forest.
