When you arrive, the team will welcome you with special care. Communication is done in German, French, English or Spanish. The hotel is managed by Jully, Manolito and their 3 children: Julia, Valentina and Katrina. The entire staff is absolutely fabulous, polite and very professional. We feel like honored guests!

There are 60 rooms on 7 floors. All rooms face the valley, with a magnificent view of the Titlis, a peak in the Ural Alps that rises to over 3000 meters and is part of the ski area of the same name. You have a balcony facing south.

Depending on the room you choose, you will enjoy the following amenities: king size bedding, private bathroom, hospitality products, private sauna in some rooms, 46 inch OLED flat screen TV, Nespresso coffee machine, wifi, minibar and safe.

There's nothing like a tasty breakfast with fresh produce to get your day off to a good start. You can ask for eggs cooked to your liking. Freshly squeezed fruit juices are also available. Here again, the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

During the day, the hotel's spa is a must! You have the following facilities at your disposal: indoor pool heated to 32°C, classic Finnish sauna at 85°C, sweet odorium at 39°C with the scent of freshly mown meadows, indoor whirlpool at 34°C and outdoor whirlpool at 36°C. The view of the mountains from the pool and the outdoor Jacuzzi is breathtaking, and you could stay for hours contemplating the landscape.

The Waldegg is located in Engelberg, about 25 kilometers south of Lake Lucerne. The community is situated on a large plateau at an altitude of about 1000 meters. The hotel overlooks the town and the surrounding nature. A free shuttle service to/from the train station is available. There is also the beautiful Engelberg-Titlis golf course nearby. Director Manolito will accompany you there every Tuesday morning if you wish!
