The story of Lo Rey du Lac dates back to 2010, when Anne and Pascal, the charming owners, decided to return to their native region and start a new life in the family home. The house is a charming 18th-century farmhouse in the Landes region, and the first guest rooms were opened in 2011. It's the start of a great and exciting family adventure...

Today, there are 7 accommodations on site, and each comes with a private, unlimited spa for the duration of your stay, even at night, thanks to an ingenious system of integrated lights. The jacuzzi is pre-heated before your arrival with a pleasant scent of lavender. Arrival is a great moment.

What we love about it: it's completely unoverlooked, breakfast is included in the price of your stay, the interior is beautifully decorated and you have air conditioning. You're literally in the heart of the forest, with only the wind, birds and squirrels to wake you up.

Cleanliness is a top priority for Anne, Pascal and the whole team. Cleaning is meticulously carried out every day. And you can feel it as soon as you arrive.

Every morning, a succulent breakfast is brought discreetly to your accommodation. It's simply exceptional. Everything is fresh and homemade. On the menu, depending on the season: traditional brioche baked at dawn (a real treat!), homemade pastries, crêpes, pancakes, cookies, brownies, fresh fruit salad, tea, coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. It's more brunch than breakfast, really.

For the evening, you have 2 choices: a box aperitif from Les Fées Locales (60€ for 2 people) or a catered meal from Villenave (from 45€ for 2 people) in Hossegor. If you're interested, don't forget to book at least 48 hours before the day of arrival. We're particularly partial to the "La Gourmande" box with Bayonne ham, or the vegetarian "La Craquante".

The location is exceptional: 5 minutes from the Atlantic Ocean, 30 minutes from Bayonne, 1 hour from Biarritz and 2h30 from Bordeaux. Please note that vehicular traffic is severely restricted on the estate. You can leave your car in the parking lot and then walk to your accommodation in the heart of the forest.
