Toues Cabanées du Lac are floating apartments located on Lac de Serre-Ponçon, in the heart of the Hautes-Alpes region, north of Provence and close to the Italian border. The cabins on the water
The Toues Cabanées are made in France using a slow-production approach. They’re set on the lake and are almost all identical. The only difference is that some have one bedroom and others have two. Take a look at this floor plan (image) and this one (image) to get an idea.
To get to the houseboat or return to dry land, a small private motorboat is at your disposal. Each houseboat has a gas cylinder and solar power.
Each cabin features the following amenities: a king-size bed, a bathroom, a dining area, a fully equipped kitchen, and outdoor patio furniture. Linens, bath towels, and cozy duvets are included.
Life on the estate
Early in the morning, breakfast is discreetly delivered to your boat each morning. You can also enjoy breakfast at La Paillote du Lac, on the shore. The menu includes pastries, bread, jams, honey, butter, fruit juice, yogurt, and hot drinks.
A private plancha grill area is available for your meals. You can also eat at the restaurant on the shore or order takeaway food. Other nice touches include a bottle of Côtes-de-Provence rosé wine by Ott, chilled and waiting for you on arrival, and unlimited ice cubes.
Through the porthole window of your room, you can see a secret cove. It is home to the estate's restaurant, a private beach for romantic relaxation, and a leisure area featuring live concerts under the stars.
There are also canoes and kayaks for excursions on the lake, and you can play beach volleyball, pétanque, or badminton. A truly hors du temps experience hors du temps an exceptional setting.
