Full of charm in all seasons, Barabas is distinguished by its elegant flowered courtyard and 180° view of the canal. The interior decoration is particularly refined with a bohemian touch. Bert, the owner, welcomes you in one of the 4 suites of this authentic 15th century house.
The Clin d'œil Suite is decorated in beige tones, with a castle atmosphere. Here, you'll enjoy royal comfort: comfortable double bed, splendid bathroom with bathtub, sitting area with fireplace and Nespresso coffee machine, and large windows overlooking the garden and Groenerei canal.
The white-toned Clair de Lune Suite welcomes you into an atmosphere of tranquility. It features a large double bed, a sitting area with Nespresso coffee machine and an elegant shower room.
The Empire Suite is the most authentic, with its irreplaceable wooden floor. This charming family suite can be divided into two bedrooms. It also has a large double bed, a sitting area with Nespresso coffee machine and an elegant shower room.
Finally, Fidèle's Cottage (named after the famous Bruges labrador) is the independent annex of B&B. A simply magnificent place. Cosy as can be, l'annexe has a fully equipped kitchen, a sitting area, a bedroom, a bathroom with bathtub and a terrace with a view on the canal.
In the morning, Bert prepares an absolutely delicious breakfast for you. From 9 am onwards, come and taste the bread rolls and other pastries, fruit salads, assorted cheese and cold cuts, scrambled eggs, tea, coffee, orange juice, spreads, butter and jam.
Breakfast can be enjoyed indoors, or in the pretty flower-filled courtyard of B&B, weather permitting. Enjoy a romantic breakfast by the water, in a tranquil garden in the heart of the city... A rare treat!
The living room is the perfect place to chat or read a book with some music and the delicious scent of incense wafting through the house. A real cabinet of curiosities, the place is full of art, paintings, mirrors and unusual objects.
Barabas is also close to the most important places of interest in Bruges: you are only a few minutes walk from the Grand Place and the Belfry of Bruges. Take a walk along the Rosary Quay, go for a bike ride, visit the French Fry Museum or take a trip to the Beguinage.
