The treehouse
We were lucky enough to spend a memorable night in the cabin, while chatting with the owners and walking around the estate. The view is sensational, especially at sunset.
On the morning of your arrival, you will receive all the details of your reservation. Check-in is completely self-service, ensuring your privacy. You may arrive as early as 5:00 PM. If you have any issues, the team is almost always on-site at the farm, and Léa is always available.
The cabin has two stories. Inside, it features the following amenities: a cozy little living room, a small wooden table shaped like a flower petal, a sink, a dry toilet, and a cozy bedroom upstairs. Outside, there are two terraces where you can enjoy breakfast in the sunshine on beautiful mornings.
At the foot of the tree, there is a small garden with a fire pit/barbecue for your use. At the end of the day, the cabin looks stunning.
The private spa
A private wellness area, located around 200 meters from the cabin, is available as an option. The price is €50 for 2 hours. Facilities include outdoor Jacuzzi, sauna, Nordic bucket and shower. Self-service bathrobes and slippers. When the weather's fine, you can also take a stroll in the farm's vegetable garden.
Book your spa appointment as early as possible before your arrival date, so you can relax. Just send a message via WhatsApp to Léa, who handles reservations.
If you like a hot shower in the morning, you can use the one in the wellness area. Don't forget to ask when you book. It's free of charge.

Between Namur and Gesves
La Cabane du Chêne located just outside Gesves, about a 20-minute drive from Namur, in Wallonia. You’ll be staying on the private grounds of the charming Basseilles farm. If you’d like to explore the area, we recommend visiting the Goyet Caves, a rare and protected underground heritage site that is home to one of Europe’s most prestigious prehistoric sites.
To eat nearby, we liked Restaurant Nous, just a few minutes' drive away: very tasty dishes and a top-notch team. The second night, we opted for a Netflix evening and tried Le Couscoussier via Uber Eats: very, very good!
