Les Étangs de CendronThis is a collection of 3 unusual accommodations in the middle of a "Natura 2002" protected natural site near a river. There's a tree house, a bubble and a dome. You're near Chimay, Belgium, right on the border with France. Watch this video on Youtube to get into the mood.

Rates start at around 160€ per night for 2 people, with a 10% discount if you stay at least 2 nights. If you book the bubble or dome, you can also enjoy a fully private outdoor jacuzzi for €35 per night.

Here are the 3 units:

- La Bulle Rêve d'Eau: secluded, overlooking the valley, set on a wooden terrace, on stilts almost above the river, double bed, sitting area with 2 armchairs, dining room with table and chairs, dry toilet and private Jacuzzi.
- La Case de l'Oncle Henri: cabin perched in an oak tree 6 meters high, 400 meters from the road, at the end of the estate, near the forest and right next to the Wartoise river. The river awaits you for unforgettable moments, whatever the season.
- Le Dôme d'eau: magnificent glass dome, double bed, sitting area with 2 armchairs, dining room with table and chairs, dry toilet and private Jacuzzi.

Each accommodation features a unique, warm interior design. Materials such as rattan and wood, as well as thick carpets and cushions, add warmth and softness.

Depending on the season, sleep under the stars, in the moonlight, in the rain, in the lightning of a thunderstorm or under the clouds carried by the wind! At night, admire the shooting stars. And wake up to the first rays of the sun, the chirping of birds, the singing of frogs, the morning dew and the splashing of water.

When it's raining or snowing, you can use the following equipment (depending on your chosen accommodation) to create an atmosphere that's both practical and cocooning: wood-burning stove, plaids, umbrellas, boots, candles, bathtub and several board games.

- Chimacienne discoveries: a platter of local cheeses, charcuterie from the local butcher and products from the estate's fish farm, including escavèche and smoked trout (35€ for 2 people)

And a rental service:

- Rental of an electric bike with a range of 100 kilometers (€25 for half a day or €35 for a day)
- Rental of a license-free electric scooter with a range of 60 to 70 kilometers (€20 per half-day or €35 per day)
- Rental of an unlicensed electric scooter with a range of 100 kilometers (35€ per half-day or 50€ per day)

You're in a large natural estate, between the 2 arms of the Wartoise river, on the edge of the great French forest of Saint-Michel. Chimay is not far away. You can stroll along the Cendron ponds or take a long walk in the Chimay forest. Other attractions in the area include the Scourmont Abbey Notre-Dame and the beautiful 40-44 Lieutenant Cook Museum.
