The C-Hotel Silt is a stunning 4-star hotel located in Middelkerke, on the Belgian coast. The hotel stands majestically on the beach, like a grand lighthouse scanning the horizon. You’ll feel as if you’re sleeping right on the sea, lulled to sleep by the sound of the waves.There’s also a wellness center that can be reserved for private use, a bar, a restaurant, and a casino. A hotel on the beach

When you discover Middelkerke and its beach, Silt stands out as the focal point. The building has the shape of a large sphere that juts out into the water. In Belgium, it's impossible to spend the night closer to the sea and with such a view. What serenity!

We had the opportunity to spend a 2-night stay here and it was a very peaceful experience. What we liked best: the breathtaking view, of course, the sunset, the 2 hours spent in the private spa and the soothing interior design.

There are 70 luxurious rooms and 1 terribly romantic sea-facing suite with its own Jacuzzi. All rooms feature the following amenities: king-size bed, terrace, bathroom with shower, Smart TV, minibar, coffee and tea-making facilities, safe, wifi, air conditioning and outdoor balcony. For greater privacy, please request a room on the top floor.

Each room has its own private balcony, a part of the structure that runs all the way around the building. Each balcony is separated by a thin fence to ensure your privacy.

Life at the hotel and spa 

During the day, take a break in the privatized wellness area with jacuzzi, sauna, hammam, sensory shower and comfortable XXL sofa. This is located on the top floor of the hotel. Welcome tray with gourmet treats, unlimited coffee, tea and water. The sea view is a marvel. Price: 195€ for 2 hours for 2 people. We tried it out and really liked the concept, despite a small problem with the alarm that was quickly sorted out by the hotel.

In the morning, breakfast (optional) is served facing the sea from 7:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the form of a buffet. On the menu: breads, cakes, coffee, pancakes, cold cuts, cheeses, yogurts, fresh fruit, cornflakes, granola, sausages, eggs, fresh fruit juice, or a glass of sparkling wine for special occasions...

The C-Bar is the ideal place to enjoy a phenomenal view of the North Sea after a stroll along the sea wall. Next door, the Taste Silt is available as a cocktail bar, with appetizers, or as a restaurant with refined classics. Try the scallop carpaccio or shrimp croquettes!

Feet in the sand

The C-Hotel Silt is located on the North Sea coast in Middelkerke. This seaside resort boasts a 9 km long sandy beach. You're also close to Ostend, Nieuwpoort and the Yser estuary. This is a sublime nature reserve of salt marshes, dunes, beaches and polders. There are plenty of varied walks and bike rides.

Note: the underground parking lot is not necessarily easy to find. If you're coming from Ostend or Brussels, for example, the entrance is on the Leopoldlaan, on your right, about 300 meters before the hotel. And it doesn't come cheap. But the advantage: it's directly connected to the hotel.
