Chalet Saint Lambert is a new, still fairly secret address in Amay, Wallonia, Belgium. It's a chalet in the middle of nature, with no neighbors whatsoever! We love the Nordic bath on the terrace and the beautiful glass roof to admire the landscape in all seasons.

Prices start at €190 per night from Sunday to Thursday and €250 on Friday and Saturday. The rate decreases if you stay longer. The price includes sheets, towels, bathrobes, coffee and tea.

Good to know: if you book last minute less than 48 hours before your arrival date, you'll receive a 20% discount.

Our peaceful stay

We visited the chalet and were quickly won over by the location: you're right in the middle of nature and the woods. It's really nice.

The cabin with a hot tub

Once inside, you'll find the following rooms: bright living room with comfortable sofa, fully-equipped kitchen, veranda overlooking the forest, bathroom with shower and bedroom upstairs. There's a second bedroom if you need it, but it's not usually accessible to travelers.

Outside, there's a large terrace surrounded by a huge garden overlooking the forest. There's a large private Nordic bath and a hammock where you can enjoy some romantic time together. It's really the best.

The chalet is very cosy when it's raining or cold: pellet stove, heating, plaids if necessary, Bluetooth speaker, umbrellas available if you want to go for a walk, Bluetooth speaker, TV with Netflix, candles, books and a few board games.

Breakfast and tapas

For breakfast, you can book a delicious breakfast in advance for €40 for two people. The menu includes pastries, bread, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, granola, jams, and more. It will be discreetly placed on the veranda when you wake up.

For your meals, it is also possible to reserve a tapas platter in advance at a price of €80 for two people.

Deep in the woods

Chalet Saint Lambert located in Amay, in the Province of Liège, Wallonia, Belgium. Liège is about a 15-minute drive away and is definitely worth a visit, especially the medieval quarter outside the castle.

One of our favorite little restaurants in the region is Chez Flo in Flémalle. Chef Florence Porignon offers succulent, refined cuisine! Great value for money.
