Le Domaine de Bra a small, family-run hotel tucked away in the heart of the Ardennes valleys in Belgium, a 20-minute drive from Durbuy. There are only 6 authentic rooms in the hotel and 4 glamping tents. Our visit
We had the opportunity to visit the hotel and chat at length with Maxime, the dynamic owner. What we liked best here: the very affordable price, the pleasant smell throughout the hotel (thanks to Baobab candles!), the bedding worthy of a 5-star hotel, the warm materials and the kindness of the team, especially Lise, Manon, Bryan and Nathalia.
The hotel is very pleasant when it's raining or cold. We love the wood-burning stove and comfortable leather armchairs in the restaurant. Plaids available. And if you want to watch a series, every room has a Smart TV.

Depending on your choice, you'll enjoy the following amenities: hotel-quality king-size bedding from Dewitte & Lietaar with 28 cm mattress and memory foam mattress topper, views of the surrounding countryside, walk-in shower, welcome products from Nuxe, underfloor heating and wifi.
The tent experience is well worth the detour if you want a different kind of experience, under the stars. The advantage is that you still have all the comforts of the hotel for your meals, Jacuzzi and sauna. The bedding is identical to that in the rooms. In the morning, you have access to a shared hotel bathroom. There are 2 shared bathrooms for 4 tents.
One thing we love: the beds in the rooms and tents are heated, which makes for a very cosy feeling in winter.
The restaurant with a terrace
For your meals, head to the hotel’s bistronomic restaurant: L’Obra. Chef Bryan Royaux and his partner Nathalia are delighted to treat you to gourmet cuisine. You can customize your dishes to suit your tastes: choose from a selection of meats, vegetables, sauces, and sides. A vegetarian option is also available.
The restaurant welcomes you in the evening, from Thursday to Sunday, on the eve of public holidays and during school vacations. At lunchtime, you're only welcome on Sundays from 12pm to 2.30pm.
Outside, a heated, covered terrace awaits you for a drink. We really love the signature cocktail, L'Obra: rum, elderflower syrup, hibiscus or mango, and tonic.
Regional breakfast
Every morning, a delicious breakfast is served in the restaurant. It is included in the price of your reservation.
On the menu: mostly local products, fresh bread, locally made flavored yogurts, cheese, pastries, fresh fruit, and eggs cooked to order just the way you like them.
The private spa
During the day, it's a real pleasure to dive into the covered XXL Jacuzzi on the terrace and use the sauna, both with forest views. For an additional €40, you can enjoy unlimited private access to the spa.
Please note: book your sessions as far in advance as possible. Each session lasts 40 minutes. Even if you book 2 or 3 sessions, the price remains €40 for your entire stay. Make the most of it!
In the heart of the Ardennes valleys
Le Domaine de Bra located in the heart of nature in the Ardennes, a 20-minute drive from Durbuy, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, and Plopsa Coo. On-site, you can rent electric scooters or electric-assist mountain bikes. A beautiful 8-kilometer hike starts right from the estate: follow the red rectangle. If you’d like to go for a walk in the surrounding area, we recommend the Heid Des Gattes.
If you're looking for another rustic restaurant nearby, there's Le Charme de Wibrin, about a 20-minute drive away. It's one of our top five restaurants in Belgium. A real mountain chalet, very cozy in winter and with a lovely, peaceful terrace to enjoy the sun in summer. Delicious food and... don't miss the crêpes!
