Our stay
We had the opportunity to spend a high-quality night here. What we liked best: the authentic charm of the suites, the old Ardennes stonework, the excellent energy throughout (it's the heart that speaks) and the delightful outdoor swimming pool heated to 28°C.
Corinne and Benjamin are discreet and lovely hosts. Here’s a photo that really captures their bond. They literally fell in love with this 18th-century half-timbered farmhouse and decided to share the beauty of this place with others. The setting is rustic and full of charm, featuring clay walls, stonework, and exposed beams. Wow.

Outside, we love the swimming pool heated to 28°C, the deckchairs, the jacuzzi overlooking the Roannay stream and the intimate terrace for a romantic drink. The jacuzzi can be reserved in advance. Admire the majestic natural surroundings.

Every morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast featuring a wide range of homemade products from the region. On the menu: fresh bread, pastries, cold meats, cheeses, fruit salad, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice, tea and coffee. The region
Paddock Lodge is ideally located in the Ardennes, close to the legendary Spa circuit, Stavelot and the town of Spa, one of Europe's most famous spas and holiday resorts. You're also close to the famous Cascade de Coo, Belgium's highest natural waterfall.
We've literally fallen in love with this region (the stones of the houses in particular) and there's this fine light that reminds us a little of Brittany and Bavaria. It's a very wooded, hilly area, with rivers, waterfalls and mysterious caves.
We recommend 2 beautiful walks in the area: follow the yellow and blue rectangles. It's very well signposted from start to finish, so it's impossible to get lost.
A few must-sees throughout the year:
- Le brame du cerf in September
- Les Francofolies de Spa in July (a music festival)
- The Formula 1 Grand Prix, often held at the end of July.
