We visit a lot of homes tucked away in the Belgian countryside, so we decided to put this list together for you

Head to the Ardennes, the Hautes Fagnes, or some of Wallonia’s most peaceful spots. There, you can still find cabins, chalets, and unique lodgings surrounded by forest with very few neighbors. On Let’s Go My Love, these are often our favorite spots: the ones where silence is almost total.
Be sure to look mainly in the Belgian Ardennes and away from the big cities. Whether it’s a treehouse, a tiny house, a cabin by a pond, or an old, secluded building, Belgium has some truly unique spots to offer. Always check the map before booking to see what’s actually in the area.
Yes, and that's probably one of the best combinations for a romantic weekend getaway. Many unique lodging options offer a private hot tub or an outdoor Nordic bath, sometimes with a direct view of the forest. When it's cold or drizzling, the experience becomes even more enjoyable.
The Ardennes are still our first choice, but don’t limit yourself to the most well-known spots. During our research and visits for *Let’s Go My Love*, we regularly discover unique places to stay in villages or rural areas where there’s practically nothing to do. And that’s exactly what makes it so appealing.
For a truly unique overnight stay, choose a treehouse. For a cozy winter weekend, people often prefer a cabin with a wood-burning fireplace. And if you want to be alone in the middle of the fields or the forest with a huge floor-to-ceiling window, a tiny house is hard to beat. An outdoor hot tub is, of course, a nice bonus.
Buy some food and drinks before you arrive, especially if you're heading to the Ardennes. Also check out the nearest restaurant, the cell service, and directions to the destination. After that, don't plan too much: a fire, a hot tub, a bottle, and a quiet forest are more than enough to make for a great evening.
