Our stay

We stayed here and the accommodation exceeded our expectations. What we liked best: the total privacy, the quality of the facilities, the impeccable cleaning, the very clear instructions for using the aquatic equipment and the truly sensational overall experience. In fact, the online reviews are unanimous...

Prices start at €220 per night from Sunday to Wednesday and €250 per night from Thursday to Saturday. The price includes: sheets, towels, bathrobes, private parking, and wood for heating the Nordic bath and sauna.

The place is first and foremost the story of a meeting. That of Hélène and Grégoire, whom we had the pleasure of meeting during our stay. He dreamed of setting up a yurt. She had always been involved in tourism, running gîtes on her parents' farm. That's how the accommodation came about. We're in constant contact with Grégoire to make sure the experience is always top-notch.

The yurt

It's located at the end of a quiet country lane. You enter the apartment completely independently, without passing anyone else.

When you enter the yurt, you'll find a multifunctional space with a lounge area and a fully-equipped kitchen, including fridge, oven, hob, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher.

The bedroom is located upstairs on the mezzanine level. This cozy space features a large king-size bed with comfortable bedding from Bultex. Thanks to the air conditioning, the pellet stove downstairs, and the yurt's perfect insulation, the bedroom is always kept at a very comfortable temperature. On the ground floor, there is a bathroom with a superb walk-in shower (very pleasant to use) and a separate toilet.

When it's raining or snowing outside, the atmosphere inside is very cosy: comfortable armchairs, plaids if needed, the pellet stove with visible flame, indoor and outdoor slippers, Bluetooth speaker and a few board games.

Behind the yurt, you'll find a private garden where you can enjoy unlimited use of the Nordic bath and sauna. Both are constantly heated by a wood-burning stove. There's also a Scottish shower!

The garden offers total privacy, with no overlooking, and allows you to enjoy soothing calm and a magnificent panorama of the surrounding countryside. There's a small meadow next to the garden where horses sometimes come to say hello. A true paradise just for you.

During your stay, a drinks menu is available and a meal service is also offered. Please feel free to ask about this when making your reservation.

Life in the countryside

Le Scandin'Havre is close to Hannut in Belgium, but also to a number of accessible hiking trails such as the Crêtes de la Burdinale and the Promenade des Chavées.
