A castle farm

The park, covering more than 20 hectares, is truly beautiful: admire the three ponds and two natural springs, listen to the cheerful chorus of birds, and simply soak up the peace and tranquility.

Inside, the cozy atmosphere is very pleasant, especially near the fireplace. It’s chic without being ostentatious. The staff is very professional and speaks Dutch, French, German, and English with ease.

Depending on your choice, the following amenities are available: air conditioning, a wonderfully comfortable king-size bed from Swiss Sense, hardwood floors, a Smart TV, a private bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and/or walk-in shower, views of the estate, and high ceilings.

Tip: basic rooms are quite small. We advise you to start with the superior rooms, which offer more space. Ask for a room away from the staircase to reduce noise.

The restaurant in the orangery

The fine-dining restaurant offers a stunning setting with its magnificent fireplace, chandeliers, and huge windows overlooking the natural surroundings. Paintings from a bygone era on the walls and candles on the tables set the tone for an intimate atmosphere. Located in the orangery, it welcomes you every day for lunch or dinner.

On the menu: French cuisine with a subtle twist, prepared using local, seasonal ingredients. Weather permitting, dining moves outdoors to the terrace, where you can enjoy a splendid view of the rolling countryside.

The Voer Valley

The Altenbroek estate is located in the heart of the Voer region, in the Voer countryside in Belgium. Maastricht is about a 25-minute drive away. The same goes for Liège, which is a little further south. On the estate, you’ll find two natural springs and three ponds.

The Voer region is a true paradise for hikers and cyclists. Here you’ll find some of the most beautiful hiking and cycling trails in Flanders.
