Carole and Bertrand left everything behind to take over and restore this splendid 17th-century farm-castle. On site, the adorable Caro welcomes you. We were lucky enough to stay here and have so many fond memories: Bertrand's guided tour of the entire estate, the animals, the quality of the interior decoration, the wonderful fragrance in the dining room and the succulent breakfast. Staying here means immersing yourself in an agro-ecological farm. This includes a 900-tree fruit orchard and a sheep and dairy cow farm. When the weather's fine, say hello to the little biquettes near the hotel entrance.

Petit Bomal is located just north of Durbuy, in Bomal, in the Belgian Ardennes. There's plenty to do in the area. If you're looking for a great place to eat, Bertrand highly recommends Gastropub Gaspard in Barvaux. Durbuy, overlooked by its castle, is a tiny medieval town full of charm. Parking is very easy, right at the entrance to the town.
