Mention Let's Go My Love to Virginie, the owner, and a bottle of Chimay beer will be left for you in the cottage upon your arrival. Virginie welcomes you warmly in French, Dutch and English. The price per night starts at about 210€ for 2 persons. The minimum stay is 2 nights. The price is degressive if you stay longer. If you book during the weekend, you get a very late check-out on Sunday until 8pm! The chalet has a large bedroom with a unique king size bed, custom made by a carpenter. There is also a fireplace in the room. Communication is easy and can be done in French, Dutch, English, Italian or Spanish. Mention Let's Go My Love when you book with Candy and benefit from a late departure at noon instead of 11am. Convenient for an early morning stroll before leaving the premises! The minimum stay is 3 nights on weekdays and 2 nights if you book on weekends or holidays. If you want to book on a Friday or Saturday, please book at least 2 months in advance as the chalet is very popular. During the week, it is usually possible to book a few days in advance. The owner's name is Candy and we are in constant contact with her. She and her husband live in Belgium after having traveled and worked abroad for many years. The cabin has been transformed into a house over the years and used to belong to a forest ranger. It has been lovingly renovated by Candy and her husband. After driving about 2km through the woods, you arrive at the place. There is always someone to greet you and explain things to you. Then, you are alone in the world to enjoy your shelter. The hut has no opposite, the calm is absolute. You have the following facilities: 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen with oven and fridge and a living room with open fire. The rental is only possible for 2 persons with possibly 1 child. Many accessories are left at your attention: pots, glasses, cups, plates, garbage bags, salt, pepper, coffee and tea. Towels are provided, as well as toilet paper. Outside, enjoy a barbecue, table and chairs. Wood is available for the open fire in the living room. The cabin is completely self-sufficient in energy thanks to solar panels and a pump connected to the nearby pond. There is a dependence on light and weather. When you arrive at the lodge, you will discover a large pond around which 8 cottages are built on stilts, overlooking the water. A ninth dwelling, a trailer, is located a little farther, on the land. The Aqualodge team is there to welcome you every day from 4:30 to 6:30 pm. This is a real plus because you can visit your cottage with a member of the team and ask questions. If you arrive later, there is a secure box that allows you to enter your cottage independently. Each chalet has a wood burning stove, private bathroom and toilet facilities.
