If you're looking for a hotel for a romantic weekend in the Ardennes, we recommend Le Château de la Chapelle in the province of Liège. This 13th-century château is now a small hotel set in a magnificent private estate. The rooms are decorated in a modern, designer style. They feature a double bed and private bathroom with Italian shower or bathtub. An outdoor swimming pool, Jacuzzi and sauna are also available. Another option: Le Val d’Amblève in Stavelot is, as its name suggests, a small haven of peace in the heart of the Ardennes. Enjoy views of the surrounding countryside from the hotel's terrace or relaxation area. The sauna and hammam can be made private for added privacy. End the evening in style with a candlelit dinner and a glass of champagne.
Here are a few ideas for cottages for a romantic weekend in the Ardennes:Le Chalet des Ronces a small cottage with rustic decor, isolated in the middle of the forest near Vielsam. It welcomes you for an idyllic and romantic stay in the heart of nature, for a minimum of three nights during the week and two nights on weekends. In the Ardennes, it is possible to spend a weekend as a couple on a relatively low budget. Finally, if you prefer to stay in a magnificent 17th-century castle but are watching your budget, we recommend the Château de Grandvoir near Arlon. This luxurious hotel has eight spacious rooms with large bathrooms equipped with either a shower or a bathtub. The average price is $145 per night.
