We love the brazier under the stars, the fireplace, the jacuzzi under the outdoor pergola and the fact that dogs are allowed.

The chalet is located right next to the forest, with no opposite or nearby neighbors. You can enter the chalet on your own, in complete privacy. With its rustic look typical of the Ardennes, it's furnished in a cocooning spirit that immediately invites you to relax.
Inside, you'll find the following facilities: bedroom, living room, fireplace, TV, fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom with shower, private terrace, brazier in the garden under the stars and private (and covered) jacuzzi under the pergola. Complimentary coffee and tea. Bathrobes are also available for use in the jacuzzi.
When it rains or snows, the atmosphere becomes magical. There's a fireplace with wood-burning stove, underfloor heating in the living room, plaids, candles, a Bluetooth speaker and board games. The sound of rain falling on the roof of the hut creates a very special atmosphere, making you feel cocooned and sheltered.
A small grocery store is available on site, with a varied selection of products: prepared dishes in jars, savoury and sweet snacks, local beers, wines and champagnes.
When booking, you can also order an optional breakfast. It will be discreetly delivered in the morning, in a basket placed on the terrace.
The refuge is located in the village of Dion, just a few meters from the French border, in the Ardennes region of Wallonia. There are many walks directly from the chalet. Céline and Pierre-Arnaud, the owners, have left a notebook in the chalet with their favorite walks. Further north, we recommend Dinant, with its impressive citadel and the beautiful facades in Rue Adolphe-Sax.
