Our memorable stay
We had the chance to stay here for two nights, and it was an absolutely memorable stay. What we liked best: the magical setting, the reasonable price, the very friendly staff who weren’t at all snobby, the exceptional wellness area with the underground pool, and the hotel’s overall modernity.
This is a far cry from an old, dusty castle—it’s more like a modern fairy tale!

Depending on the room you choose, you’ll enjoy the following amenities: a plush king-size bed, a bathroom that opens onto the bedroom or is enclosed, a walk-in shower, a freestanding bathtub in the center of the room, hardwood floors, soft carpeting, a view of the garden or the inner courtyard, a living area with a fireplace, a Smart TV, and air conditioning.
Note: superior rooms and executive suites allow early check-in at 1pm, while other rooms allow check-in at 3pm.
The breakfast buffet
In the morning, enjoy a delicious, lavish breakfast served buffet-style between 7:00 and 10:00 a.m. You can enjoy it in the light-filled dining room or on the sunny terrace.
On the menu: a wide selection of sweet and savory items, fresh bread, freshly squeezed orange juice, Crémant Luxembourgeois, salmon, cold cuts, cheese, honey from the estate’s bees, and many other delicious treats.
The gourmet restaurant
In the evening, be sure to make a reservation at the Château’s restaurant. From 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., the restaurant serves top-notch French cuisine in a refined setting, under the expert guidance of Chef Yves Van Dorpe. Wooden beams on the ceiling add warmth, and the room is illuminated by chandeliers.
The wine selection is particularly good and features a wide variety of grape varieties. An example of a dish? Iberian pork, caramelized onions, maple syrup, and seasonal vegetables. Delicious!
The romantic bar
As the evening winds down, extend the fun at the "U" Lounge Bar, located in the Château’s historic cellars. The intimate atmosphere is somewhat reminiscent of the Prohibition era in the 1930s.
The intimate atmosphere is perfect for sharing stories, secrets, and laughter. Access is reserved exclusively for hotel guests, and the bar usually closes around 1 a.m.
The cave spa
The hotel's biggest draw is, of course, its stunning NUXE® Spa. Outside, you'll find a large heated pool and a pool bar that opens in the late afternoon.
Inside, the setting is absolutely magical, as if you’ve stepped into another world. The pool flows like a river nestled within a romantic cave. There’s also a hot tub, two steam rooms, two saunas, and five treatment rooms where you can enjoy spa treatments and massages.
Just across the Belgian border
Le Château d'Urspelt located in the heart of the Our Nature Park, near Clervaux in Luxembourg. It is a 25-minute drive from Bastogne in Belgium, a 90-minute drive from Metz in France, and a 2-hour drive from Bonn in Germany.
Want to get some exercise while exploring the area? The team offers three walking trails, measuring 4.5 km, 10 km, and 12 km, respectively. Scooters are also available for rent if needed.
