Les Cabanes Champêtres is a bucolic estate with 4 luxurious cabins on the outskirts of a 13th-century medieval fortress. You're in Villers-la-Ville, between Charleroi and Namur in Belgium. On the day of your arrival, you'll discover the ancient 13th-century château with its multi-century keep surrounded by walls. The Domaine des Trois Tilleuls was once a seigneury, before becoming a farm and then a family home. The wooded park where the cabins are located is a mix of woods and meadows. The hilly surroundings are picturesque. Here's a map of the estate to help you find your way around.

Myriam and Tanguy, the owners, offer you a very warm welcome. We are in regular contact with Tanguy at contact , who has taken the time to tell us all about this wonderful project from the outset. The aim is to ensure the long-term future of the estate while honoring its history. Tanguy is aiming for the Clé Verte label as early as 2025, and uses only good products from respectful local agriculture.

There are 4 cabins: La Cabane du Héron, La Cabane du Pic, La Cabane du Hibou and La Cabane du Faucon. All feature the following amenities: exceptionally comfortable hotel-quality king-size bed, bathroom with walk-in shower, fully-equipped kitchen, private open-air balcony and small private garden. The view of the horses in the middle of the fields is very relaxing. Take a look at this illustration of the cabin to get an idea.

A little further on is the foyer, a communal cabin where residents of the 4 private cabins can meet. There's a sauna overlooking the fields, a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, a large kitchen, a plancha barbecue and a brazier. The place is perfect for a convivial evening by the fire.

The sauna is available for private use. During your stay, you can enjoy a free 45-minute sauna session each day. When you arrive, simply choose the time that suits you best and write your name on the sheet at the sauna entrance.

In the morning, a tasty breakfast is available as an option for €35 or €50 for 2 people, depending on what you want. On the menu: 3-grain bread, viennoiserie, cheese, jam, chocolate spread, yoghurt, granola, fresh fruit, homemade juice, smoked ham, herb cheese, raw egg, honey and hot chocolate chips to melt in your mouth.

There are extras:

- Gourmet aperitif basket: grissini, tapenade, sausage, diced cheese, cashew nuts, cookies and 2 beers (52€ for 2 people)
- Catered dishes: shepherd's pie, lasagne, spaghetti bolognaise, meatballs or tagliatelle (40€ for 2 people)
- Light lunch: vegetable soup, 2 eggs to cook as you wish, baguette, cheese, cold cuts and butter (30€ for 2 people)
- Snack: cookies, milk, fresh fruit and hot chocolate chips to melt (14€ for 2 people)

Les Cabanes Champêtres are located in Villers-la-Ville, just a few minutes' drive from Villers Abbey, a sumptuous Cistercian abbey and arguably the most beautiful in Belgium.
