Our stay
We stayed here and had a wonderful night. The arrival at the castle is spectacular; the building is truly magnificent, especially in the early evening. The person at the front desk was very welcoming. Special mention also goes to the person who served us at breakfast. The staff is fully multilingual and speaks Dutch, French, English, and German.
Couples love Kasteel van Ordingen , praising the soul of the castle, the quality of the gourmet restaurant, the impeccable service and the tasty breakfast.
Rooms and Suites
There are 35 carefully decorated rooms and suites. Depending on the room or suite you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: king-size bedding (we slept really well!), private bathroom with bath or shower, welcome products by Guerlain, coffee machine, perfect soundproofing, exposed beams, air conditioning, period chandelier and luxurious interior decoration.
Some of our favorite rooms and suites:

We had room 204 and it wasn't the best, as it was a little too close to the stairs. In the late evening, there is sometimes noise from the restaurant (downstairs) or from the speakers in the ceiling playing music. To be on the safe side, ask for a room as far away from reception and the stairs as possible.
The private spa
For a moment of relaxation, the hotel offers a wellness area that can be reserved for your exclusive use. The facilities include a Turkish bath, a Finnish sauna, infrared seats, and a sensory shower. Everything you need for a truly relaxing experience. Your reservation includes one hour of exclusive access between 8:00 AM and 10:00 PM.
An important note: even though this area is reserved exclusively for hotel guests, slots fill up quickly. Be sure to reserve yours as soon as possible, either at the front desk or by phone, to ensure you can enjoy it.
Life in the hotel
There are two places where you can eat.
The fine-dining restaurant "Aurum" offers a unique and creative culinary experience. Try the langoustines with lentils, pumpkin, and ponzu, or the Haspengouw pear for dessert. And be sure to try the house champagne named after the Château, which produces its own... Excellent!
If you're looking for something simpler, we recommend checking out Bistro Richard. On the menu: homemade shrimp croquettes, sole with parsley butter, lemon, lettuce, and fresh fries, or bouchée à la reine, mousseline, lettuce, and fresh fries. Classic but delicious.
In the evening, enjoy a drink with your partner at the hotel bar, which features an eclectic, maximalist, and colorful style. They offer a wide selection of cocktails.
