Forestia is a magnificent wildlife park located in the heart of the forest near Spa, Belgium, 30 minutes from Liège. Since summer 2023, the park has been inviting you to spend a magical stay in one of the 5 lodges scattered throughout the park, with 360° panoramic views of black bears, llamas and wolves in particular.

The price of a lodge reservation starts at around €281 per night for 2 people. This is a half-board package, with everything included: overnight stay, 2-day park access, breakfast delivered to your lodge, evening meal at the Forest'Bar and private parking.

On arrival at the park, check in at the Wood reception desk (the park hotel). Be careful not to check in at the park entrance, as it's easy to make a mistake. Here's the address to enter into your GPS on the day of your arrival: rue du pied de la Fagne 10, 4910 Theux.

Your lodge is open from 3 pm, but you can check-in as soon as the park opens at 10 am. You can then drop off your luggage and start visiting the park. Park opening times may vary according to the season, so check carefully to avoid any unpleasant surprises. And off you go for a day to remember!

Forestia is above all 300 animals in semi-liberty in the middle of the forest, 44 hectares and more than 5 kilometers of walks. Species to discover include lynx, white deer, black bear, American bison, Canadian wolves and llamas. Here's a map of the park to help you find your way around. The 5 lodges on the map are marked "new" in yellow.

The 5 lodges :

1. Lodge Simone: sleep opposite tarpan horses. And close to fallow deer, llamas, Sika deer, yaks, lynx and Canadian wolves. The private terrace lets you recharge your batteries in the heart of the forest.
2. Lodge Scott: sleep opposite llamas, Sika deer and yaks. And close to lynx and Canadian wolves. This 7-meter-high stilt lodge is located in the heart of the park.
3. Lodge Harry: sleep among reindeer and Canadian wolves. And close to llamas and lynx. It's also a superb lodge on stilts 7 meters high.
4. Barry Lodge: sleep opposite black bears. Barry, Nina and Winnie are 3 bears in great shape, faithful to the appointment and very happy to meet new guests.
5. Lodge Mathilde: sleep between European wolves and takins. And close to llamas, Sika deer and yaks. Mathilde is the park's new gray wolf and lives with Philippe. Sound familiar?

The lodges can accommodate from 2 to 6 people, but rest assured that everything has been designed with the number of guests in mind. Of the 5 lodges, 3 are especially recommended for couples: Simone, Scott and Harry. Couples account for half of all bookings at Forestia, and it's the perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!

Depending on the lodge you choose, you'll enjoy the following facilities: large bedroom with comfortable bed from Auping, terrace with deckchairs and view, flat-screen TV, bathroom with bath or shower, welcome products from Damana, microwave, fridge, sink, crockery, coffee machine, minibar, sitting area and dining table.

In the morning, breakfast is delivered directly to your lodge. It's included in your reservation. On the menu: 100% organic juices from Cléoju, fruit, dairy products, pastries, rolls, hard-boiled eggs and cold cuts. In the evening, head to the park's restaurant, Forest'Bar, to enjoy your 2-course meal, included in your reservation. Delicious burgers at map !
