Les Cabanes Étoilées is a romantic estate located in Chaumount-Gistoux, about 30 minutes from Brussels, Belgium. You can choose between 2 adorable oak cabins. The location is on the edge of a forest. We love the bathtub overlooking the surrounding countryside and the original starry ceiling.

The cabins

The two cabins are the result of a collaboration between two passionate friends: a creative designer and a carpenter.

They chose to work with oak, a fine wood. Each piece of wood was carefully selected for its natural beauty, strength, and durability.

Each cabin is situated to offer an incredible view of the sunset, free from light pollution and background noise.

You'll enjoy the following facilities: living room, wood-burning stove, bedroom with queen-size bed, Belgian fabrics from King of Cotton, fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom, bathtub overlooking nature, large outdoor terrace, outdoor kitchen, barbecue grill, swing and swing hammock. Most of the interior decor is by Maisons du Monde.

Dining options

In the morning, you can book a delicious optional home-made breakfast for €35 for 2 people. This is discreetly left at the entrance to the hut in the morning, without disturbing you. On the menu: pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, artisan bread, local charcuterie, jam, butter and fruit. Coffee and tea are already available in the cabin.

- Cocktail bartender: all the equipment you need to create your favorite cocktail, including Bloody Mary, Piña Colada, Mai Tai, Margarita, Sex on the Beach and Cosmopolitan (90€ for 2 people).
- Apéro campagnard: enjoy a succulent aperitif including a platter of local charcuterie, fresh cheese, pâté de campagne, crusty bread and a bottle of good wine (50€ for 2 people)

You're in the small village of Chaumount-Gistoux, halfway between Namur and Brussels. If you want to extend your getaway after leaving the cabin, we recommend a detour to the Domaine Régional de Solvay, a 25-minute drive away, one of Belgium's most beautiful parks. This dazzling 230-hectare site features the majestic Château de la Hulpe, lakes and perfectly delineated paths.
