La Cabane du Potager is a wonderful place located in the Condroz region of Belgium, in the heart of the Linciaux Farm. It's a comfortable 2-person cabin set in a permaculture vegetable garden. The philosophy of the place can be summed up as follows: do little but well, beautiful and good.

Marie-Catherine and Nicolas are the owners. We are in permanent contact . They are discreet but very responsive to the slightest problem. Communication is possible in French, Dutch, English or Spanish. The couple work on the farm, but your cabin retains total privacy. The vegetable garden is 100% private and there are no other guests at the same time. You enter the cabin independently.
The philosophy of the place can be summarized as follows: to do little but well, beautiful and good. This translates into cultivation on small surfaces, breeding on a human scale and a respect for nature. All the food and materials are local and favor the short circuit.
The cabin offers a surface area of 40m², a king-size bed by Belgian brand Kalani home, a duo bath, a super-comfortable sofa, a wood-burning stove, Belgian sheets, Belgian soap and Bobone shampoo. The interior decoration has been done with great care, and we really like it!
When it's raining or snowing, it's very cocooning: the wood-burning stove is glazed with visible flames, pleasant underfloor heating, plaids available, fur-lined boots for walking outside, Bluetooth speaker, candles on the table, several board games and a few books.
Outside, you'll enjoy a private terrace, a brazier area and a Nordic bath accessible all year round. An educational tour of the fully private vegetable garden is also available during your stay.
All meals are prepared with products from the garden. The optional breakfast is brought to you in the morning, without disturbing you. On the menu: delicious breads made by the neighboring baker with local organic cereals, organic Belgian pastries, homemade jams made with fruit from the garden, fruit from the orchard, eggs from the chickens on the estate, yogurt and butter from a nearby farm and organic Chorti coffee. A delightful experience!
For the evening, an optional meal is also provided. It will be waiting for you in the cool of the hut on your arrival. Prepare yourself for a real taste experience with a starter based on vegetables from the garden, a plancha with tasty home-made burgers to be composed according to your tastes, a dessert from a local craftsman and a bottle of wine, red or white, of your choice.
During your stay, there are many activities available. An educational tour is possible in the vegetable garden. Many walks are possible in the surroundings and you can also rent electric bikes to explore the Condroz region even more. The Château de Leignon is nearby and Dînant is a 15 minute drive away.
