Our Tips Before You Book

Try to make your reservation early, and be sure to mention that you're celebrating a special occasion—if that's the case, of course.

If you have the opportunity, we recommend choosing an all-inclusive package. It's more cost-effective, and you won't have to worry about the details of your stay. Everything is arranged in advance: your room, dinner at the restaurant, private spa access, breakfast, and even an optional massage if you'd like.

Be sure to choose your private spa session From during the reservation process. And if possible, ask for a table in the center of the restaurant, near the tree.

A few final remarks:

- You can book a one-night stay, unless you arrive on Monday or Tuesday (in which case a two-night stay is required)
- If you book an all-inclusive stay, please note that the restaurant is open for dinner only on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday
- The breakfast buffet is available only on Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. On Tuesdays and Wednesdays, breakfast is not served buffet-style: it is served on a platter at your table.

The history of the house

Purchased in the 1970s by Yves’s grandparents, Herenhuis is a family home filled with memories. Yves transformed it into a bed-and-breakfast From , 2015, before adding a private wellness center and then a restaurant in 2022.

Today, Yves, his wife Virginie, and Séverine welcome you with warmth, care, and a touch of that quintessentially Belgian humor. They pour all their passion into it, and you can feel it throughout your stay. We love this photo of the team.

During the day, Chef Virginie and her team welcome you for a delightful culinary experience, while Yves serves up top-quality cocktails. We recommend trying the bone-in rib to share or savoring the delicious seasonal dishes featured on the menu, which changes every three months.

In the morning, a delicious brunch is served from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It is included in the price of your stay. On the menu: a fresh breakfast buffet, local and seasonal products, sweet and savory treats, fresh coffee, tea, and fruit juice.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays, enjoy our weekend brunch from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.—it’s even more indulgent and substantial.

Private Wellness

The spa is a little gem.

You can reserve it for private use for 2 to 6 people for 3 hours a day.

Highlights include: a luxury Finnish sauna, an infrared sauna, an ice shower, an ice scrub, a Turkish bath, a heated indoor pool, a massage shower, and a covered outdoor hot tub with a terrace.

Reservations can be made Monday through Friday afternoons and Sunday afternoons. Weekend time slots are reserved primarily for guests staying overnight.

B&B Herenhuis is ideally located in the heart of Izegem, about a 10-minute walk from the train station. Kortrijk is a 20-minute drive away. France is also nearby.
