2. Caribbean loft: island-themed room with queen-size bed, palm-facing whirlpool bath, infrared sauna and practical kitchen (from €229).

3. Pavillon Bali: 18m² room nestled in a wooden hut, queen-size bed, typical Balinese interior decoration, private whirlpool bath and pets allowed (from €169).

4. Thai Loft: a bubble of serenity on the 1st floor of the main house, with king-size bed, whirlpool bath and stylish Zen interior design (from €149).

5. Chambre Amazonie: room inspired by the owners' trip to Brazil, with queen-size bed, large bay window where the sun rises and whirlpool bath (from €129).

6. Dôme: comfortable bubble with furniture, king-size bed, view of the stars and private bathroom in a small chalet just a few meters away (from €129).

Depending on your choice, you'll have the following amenities at your disposal: screen, DVD player, local handmade soap, organic shampoo, hairdryer, candles, incense, coffee and tea. There's no wifi (except in the communal area), so you can disconnect completely.

In the morning, enjoy breakfast in the comfort of your room or in the communal dining room. When you arrive, you can choose whatever you like. On the menu: croissant, pain au chocolat, homemade bread, local honey, 3 kinds of homemade jam, fruit, tea from Yogi Tea or Amarti, coffee, apple or orange juice, hot chocolate, eggs, ham, bacon and Chimay cheese.

In the evening, a selection of snacks, beverages and tasty dishes concocted by Marjo from Family Traiteur are available as optional extras. These can be delivered directly to your room or dining room.

During the day, take a dip in the heated (and covered) outdoor pool, open free of charge from May to September. What we love: a jacuzzi and sauna are available for private use. All you have to do is reserve your time. Massages are also available.

Terre Insolite is located between Beaumont and Chimay in Belgium, about 20 minutes from the Lacs de l'Eau d'Heure. These lakes are essentially dedicated to nature and sports.
