La Suite 77 a charming retreat nestled in the heart of the village of Hollange, in the Province of Luxembourg, in southern Belgium. There are two Indonesian-style suites: la Suite 77 Suite Hindi. Rates for 2 people start at €299 per night Monday to Thursday, €320 per night Friday to Sunday and €230 per 3 hours from 1pm to 4pm. Our stay

We were lucky enough to spend the night in the Hindi Suite, but we also got to tour la Suite 77 we arrived. The two suites are quite similar, but each has its own unique character.

Here’s what we loved most: the quality of the materials, the breathtaking view of the valley from every part of the suite and the terrace with a hot tub, the exceptionally comfortable bed, the complete privacy, and the attention to every detail.

Céline, the owner and mother of three, knows better than anyone how precious moments with your loved one can be. It was with this belief in mind that she designed and created her two suites, putting her heart and soul into them.

Captivated by Indonesia, she wanted to infuse the two suites with a unique atmosphere. Much of the furniture was crafted by Indonesian artisans. What can I say... The result is magical. You really feel like you’re in another world.

The suites

Your suite will be available starting at 5:00 p.m. You can park your car in a discreet, covered, and secure parking lot.

Check-in is completely self-service using a code. You won't see Céline at all, though she's always available via WhatsApp during your stay if you need anything.

Depending on the suite you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: private sauna, bedroom with king-size bed, fully-equipped kitchen, Smeg fridge, Smart TV, cocooning lounge with wood-burning stove, bathroom with walk-in shower, glass-enclosed Finnish sauna and Bluetooth speaker system with the option of connecting your smartphone to select the musical ambience.

Outside, discover the covered terrace with jacuzzi heated all year round to 39° and splendid views over the valley. Deckchairs are at your disposal for a moment of relaxation, as well as all the furniture you need to share a meal together. There's also a small private garden to the rear.

When it's raining or snowing outside, of course, it's absolutely pleasant. You've got plaids, underfloor heating, a Netflix subscription courtesy of Céline, candles and a chess set.

Dining options

During the day, drinks are available in the fridge, including wine, champagne and soft drinks. Help yourself during your stay, and pay the bill on departure.

In the evening, you can order dishes prepared by Benoît and Lucie, the owners of Le Saint-Germain restaurant in Bastogne. The table will be carefully set before your arrival. When you’re ready to eat, all you have to do is pop the dishes in the oven before enjoying them in the comfort of your suite. Expect to pay around €90 for two people for a two- or three-course meal.

Early in the morning, a local and varied breakfast is available as an optional extra for €40 for two people. It is served at the time of your choice and arrives in a small wicker basket. Enjoy it on the terrace on sunny days or comfortably on the sofa by the wood-burning stove.

On the menu: fresh bread from the Moulin de Hollange, pastries, butter, homemade jam, yogurt, cheese, cold cuts, free-range eggs, fruit juice, and hot drinks. Take a look at this photo to get an idea.

At the Luxembourg border

You are only 10 minutes by car from Bastogne, in the Province of Luxembourg, in Belgium. Don't miss the Bastogne War Museum, a place of memory about the Second World War.

Another idea for an activity: the Bois d'Oisefagne. Along a marked out walk of about 3 km, you are invited to discover the local fauna and flora as well as the jobs in the forest. Key places on the walk: the pontoon and the observation post at the bottom of the valley.
