Le Manoir de Lébioles is a majestic Hotel 5* hidden in the middle of the forest in the Belgian Ardennes. Nicknamed "The Little Versailles of the Ardennes", this place is breathtakingly beautiful. We love the manor house dating from 1905, the crackling fire in the fireplace, the candles in the bedroom and the intimate restaurant... Watch our on-site video.
Note: The hotel was completely renovated in 2026, and the video above is from 2025. We can't wait to go back there very soon.

Our experience
We’ve stayed here several times before, including in Room 1 with a bathtub. It’s the first room on the left on the first floor. What we like best: the estate’s poetic atmosphere, the well-equipped wellness center, the beautiful lobby, the comfortable beds, and the many walks in the surrounding area.
The Magical Arrival at the Manor
As you turn down a country road winding through the forest, you come upon the manor house. It appears in the distance, first very small, then much larger... Magical, especially at sunset or when it's foggy. Park your car in the parking lot and open the large front door. You're there.
The team speaks fluent French, Dutch, German and English. We are in constant contact with the Director, Florian, who speaks all 4 languages.
The lobby is our favorite part of the hotel, and we love settling into the sofa to enjoy the roaring fire in the fireplace.
The motto inscribed on the establishment's coat of arms perfectly reflects the house's philosophy:"Plus Valet Quam Lucet", which means"To be rather than to appear", and that's exactly what it is. Luxury is always discreet, but always present.
The rooms (most of which have a single bathtub!)
There are 16 luxurious rooms and suites ranging in size from 30 to 75 square meters. Comfortably furnished, each is decorated in its own unique style. Nearly all the rooms feature a bathtub. Ours had a beautiful freestanding bathtub.

Depending on your choice, you’ll enjoy the following amenities: a king- or queen-size bed, a view of the Ardennes, the castle’s historic courtyard, or the garden; a bathroom with a shower and a freestanding bathtub; a sitting area; a fireplace; a Smart TV; a minibar; a coffee maker; a kettle and tea; air conditioning; and a safe.
The gourmet restaurant
In the evening, when night falls and the manor is lit up, head to the hotel restaurant for a special experience. We recommend making a reservation as soon as possible, preferably during the week.
Ask for the table at the back, near the window—it’s the best one. There, the chef creates inventive, authentic, and light dishes that delight even the most discerning palates.
The spa
During the day, the spa is, of course, a must-visit. The architecture of the thermal treatment area is designed around the four elements: water, air, fire, and earth. Highlights include a large heated indoor pool, a sauna, a steam room, an ice fountain, a foot bath, an aromatherapy shower, a lounge with a fireplace, and a fitness center.
If you'd like to extend this relaxing experience, we also offer a wonderful selection of treatments and skincare products from Babor. Our duo treatment rooms allow you to enjoy them with your partner.
A few tips for making a reservation
- We recommend choosing dates between Sunday and Thursday. The hotel is quieter then, and the staff can focus entirely on you.
- If you’re staying at the manor on Saturday night, try to get up early on Sunday to enjoy the spa in peace. But the spa is also very beautiful in the evening—the choice is yours.
- When booking, specify that you would like a quiet room with a beautiful view of the back garden or the main entrance. The staff will do their best to accommodate your requests, though this is never guaranteed.
- Check-in is at 3 PM, but you are welcome to arrive as early as 10 AM and enjoy the spa, the restaurant, and the fire near the reception area.
- Your reservation is cancellable at no charge if you cancel at least 5 days before your arrival date.
- If you’re planning a surprise or celebrating a special occasion, know that anything is possible and that the team is on your side. They’re used to it and love personalizing every reservation.
A treasure in the heart of the Ardennes
Le Manoir de Lébioles located in Spa, Wallonia, deep in the forest. It’s truly secluded, surrounded by nature.
As a bit of trivia, this hotel was chosen by actor Brad Pitt in July 2024 during his stay in Belgium. He was filming a few scenes at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit for the movie "F1," directed by Joseph Kosinski. They stayed in the Imperial Suite, which costs around €600 per night on weekdays.
Spa, one of the world’s most famous spa towns, is just a 10-minute drive away. The town is well worth a visit and exudes early 19th-century charm. We also really like Stavelot. Finally, the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit is a 20-minute drive away.
Not far away, we had the opportunity to discover the Charmille du Haut Marêt, and it was a real "coup de coeur". It's a 600-meter walkway covered with branches that form a veritable canopy of vegetation. It's a magnificent place in any season, and the longest walk of its kind in Europe.
