Note: Grégory, the owner of the Clandestino collection at Let's Go My Love, handles the reservations. We have a great relationship with him.
Grégory traveled extensively in his youth, including 5 years in Peru, 6 months in Guatemala, and 6 months in Brazil. He speaks French, Dutch, English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
Let's get the tour started
You'll arrive at the terrace with a hot tub facing the forest. The small house on your left was originally a barn. It has been completely renovated.
The owner lives about 100 meters away (if needed), but the property is completely private with a separate entrance. You can also enter the house on your own if you wish.
On the ground floor, you'll find the kitchen, the dining table, the living room with a fireplace, and the bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with an oven, an espresso machine, a freezer, and a refrigerator.
The bedroom is upstairs. Please note that the staircase leading up to and down from the bedroom is quite narrow. It can be a little difficult to go down, especially at night.
Outside, there are two terraces. The first is at the back, facing south, and accessible from the bedroom. Here, you can have a barbecue with a view of the meadow. Everything you need is provided. The second terrace is located at the front of the house and is accessible from the living room. That’s where the hot tub is, nestled among the trees.
A very pleasant environment
Alma is located on a large, lush private estate, not far from the Liège-Gomzé Golf Club in Sprimont, about 15 minutes from Liège.
For breakfast, we recommend the artisanal bakery in Fraipont, run by Sophie and Yano, which is about a 10-minute drive away.
The Remouchamps Caves are also a 10-minute drive away. Explore the spacious galleries, beautifully adorned by nature, all the way to that legendary chamber discovered in 1912: the Cathedral, which stands 40 meters tall. But the most memorable part of the tour is the boat ride back along the underground river. It’s an extraordinary experience and highly recommended!
One of Belgium’s most beautiful hiking trails is just a 15-minute drive away: the Promenade du Ninglinspo. The scenery is breathtaking! You can also visit the Remouchamps Caves and explore a fascinating underground world on a boat ride through ancient caverns.
A little further on, we finally had the chance to explore the Charmille du Haut Marêt, and we absolutely fell in love with it. This walking trail, about 600 meters long, is covered with branches that form a veritable canopy of foliage. The place is beautiful in every season, and it’s also the longest walk of its kind in Europe.
This blog brings together more than 350 romantic and unique destinations in a one-of-a-kind collection. These might include a hidden hotel or a cabin by a lake, for example.
