Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel is an exclusive 4* superior hotel nestled in Clervaux, in the north of Luxembourg. The Belgian border is just around the corner, which is why we decided to add the hotel to Let's Go My Love. There are just 22 suites and a large Spa Cinq Mondes with heated indoor pool, waterfall and XXL Jacuzzi.
Enter the promo code LETSGOMYLOVE when booking on our partner's official website and benefit from an exclusive welcome package: -5% discount on your stay, Cinq Mondes Pack offered in your room with beauty products, late check-out at noon and complimentary aperitif at the hotel restaurant. Tip: if your stay takes place in February 2025, select the special "Valentine's Day" offer during booking to enjoy a special romantic welcome. This includes a personalized romantic decoration, a bottle of Crémant luxembourgeois, a box of chocolates and an exclusive love box. The above promo code is valid.
When you arrive in Clervaux, we recommend parking on the Place du Marché, which offers free parking and a beautiful view of the castle. The hotel entrance is just a few minutes' walk away.
Reception is in the Koener Hotel, but don't worry. As soon as you receive your key, everything is explained and you can head for le Clervaux Boutique Hotel, just across the street and far more luxurious. The interior is elegant and sophisticated, with subtle art deco decor, Baroque touches and exposed beams in some suites.
Choose from 22 elegantly designed suites. Depending on the suite you choose, you'll enjoy the following amenities: king-size bedding, private bathroom, air conditioning, Smart TV, free wifi, coffee machine with capsules provided and generously-stocked mini-bar.
A few tips on sequels :
- All suites feature a designer shower and bathtub.
- The Excellence Suite is the only one with a natural stone duo bath and private balcony.
- The 3 Wellness suites feature a whirlpool bath with bubbles (we tested n°3, which is perfect).
- One of the Clervaux Suites (n°23) boasts a magnificent view of the château.
- Please specify when booking that you do not want the suite above the restaurant (a little noisy in the evening).
- Breakfast can be delivered directly to the suite.
During the day, enjoy a moment of pure pleasure at Spa Cinq Mondes . Access is included in the price of your reservation. On the program: indoor pool, indoor Jacuzzi, soothing waterfall, traditional Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, salt grotto, hammam and massages (booking required). We also love the cocooning relaxation room.
We had a relaxing massage for 60 minutes and it was really very pleasant. The person who took care of us was very friendly, gentle and professional.
A few spa tips:
- To get the most out of the spa, we recommend that you go as soon as it opens, if possible on weekdays and outside the vacation season.
- The spa is nudist, but you can keep your towel around your body if you wish.
- The spa is always accessible after check-out (you can leave your luggage at reception).
- If you go to the spa after check-out, don't forget to bring your bathrobes from your room.
- If you forget your bathing suit, it's not possible to buy one on site (don't forget!).
There are several restaurants to choose from. The hotel's 2 restaurants (Brasserie Koener and Chloé) offer traditional French cuisine that's not incredible. Instead, we recommend Da Nonna Iza (a quality Italian restaurant) or Dos Gringos, a really nice tapas bar just a 2-minute walk away.
Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel is located in the heart of the Luxembourg Ardennes, known as Eislek, in the picturesque village of Clervaux. The Clervaux train station is nearby. It's a charming destination with a rich history. For the record, Flemish writer Marc Geyens regularly stays here to write his books.
Of course, we also recommend a visit to the medieval castle, which stands proudly on a large rocky outcrop and dates back to the 12th century. Inside the castle, don't miss "The Family of Man", a permanent photographic exhibition. This impressive (and moving) exhibition of black-and-white photographs was originally created for the MOMA in New York, before being permanently installed at Clervaux.
