Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel is an exclusive 4* superior hotel nestled in Clervaux, in the north of Luxembourg. The Belgian border is close by, which is why we decided to add the hotel to Let's Go My Love. There are just 22 suites and a large Spa Cinq Mondes with heated indoor pool, waterfall and XXL Jacuzzi. Here's a video we like.

When you arrive in Clervaux, we recommend parking on the Place du Marché, which offers free parking and a beautiful view of the castle. The hotel entrance is just a few minutes' walk away.
Reception is in the Koener Hotel, but don't worry. As soon as you receive your key, everything is explained and you can head for le Clervaux Boutique Hotel much more luxurious le Clervaux Boutique Hotel, just opposite. The interior is elegant and sophisticated, with subtle art deco decor, Baroque touches and exposed beams in some suites.
The suites
You can choose from 22 elegantly designed suites. Here are our favorites:
1 • Junior Suite • Photo
2 • Duplex Suite • Photo
3 • Clervaux Suite • Photo
4 • Excellence Suite • Photo
5 • Wellness Suite • Photo
Depending on the room type you choose, you’ll enjoy the following amenities: a king-size bed, a private bathroom, air conditioning, a Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, a coffee machine with complimentary capsules, and a well-stocked minibar.
A few comments:
- All suites feature a designer shower and bathtub.
- The Excellence Suite is the only one with a natural stone duo bath and private balcony.
- The 3 wellness suites feature a whirlpool bath with bubbles (we tested n°3, which is perfect).
- One of the Clervaux Suites (no. 23) offers a magnificent view of the château.
- Specify that you don't want the suite above the restaurant (a bit noisy in the evening).
- Breakfast can be delivered directly to the suite.
The 800-square-meter spa
During the day, enjoy a moment of pure pleasure at Spa Cinq Mondes . Access is included in the price of your reservation. On the program: indoor pool, indoor Jacuzzi, soothing waterfall, traditional Finnish sauna, infrared cabin, salt grotto, hammam and massages (booking required). We also love the cocooning relaxation room.
We had a relaxing massage for 60 minutes and it was really very pleasant. The person who took care of us was very friendly, gentle and professional.
A few spa tips:
- If possible, go as soon as it opens, on weekdays and outside the vacation season (quieter).
- The spa is always accessible after check-out (leave your luggage at reception).
- If you go to the spa after check-out, don't forget to bring your bathrobes from your room.
- If you forget your swimsuit, it's not possible to buy one on site (but the hotel works with a small lingerie boutique nearby that sells swimsuits).
Your dining options
For lunch or dinner, you can choose from several restaurants. The hotel has two restaurants: the Koener Brasserie, with its modern atmosphere, and the Chloé, featuring a wood-paneled interior. Both serve traditional French cuisine.
We recommend checking out Da Nonna Iza right next door instead. It’s an Italian restaurant serving antipasti, salads, meat, fish, pasta, and pizza. Just a 2-minute walk away, there’s also Dos Gringos, a really great tapas bar!
On the Belgian-Luxembourg border
Le Clervaux Boutique Hotel located in the heart of the Luxembourg Ardennes, known as Eislek, in the picturesque village of Clervaux. Clervaux train station is nearby. It is a charming destination with a rich history. For the record, Flemish writer Marc Geyens regularly stays here to write his books.
Of course, we also recommend a visit to the medieval castle, which stands proudly on a large rocky outcrop and dates back to the 12th century. Inside the castle, don't miss "The Family of Man", a permanent photographic exhibition. This impressive (and moving) exhibition of black-and-white photographs was originally created for the MOMA in New York, before being permanently installed at Clervaux.
