Both originally from the Aisne valley, Joëlle and Jean-Luc have lovingly renovated an annex to their house. They chose the name Monts d'Aisne because Mormont is one of the region's peaks, and also because Jean-Luc had already given the name to a graduation project for a winter leisure center. Communication goes smoothly in French, Dutch and English.
The suite is located at the rear of a building, hidden away and accessible via a separate staircase that leads to the spacious private terrace above. When you arrive, the candles are lit. You immediately feel at home!
You will discover a cocooning living room with sofa and flat screen, bedroom with king size bed on the mezzanine, bathroom with Carrara marble shower, organic products, fully equipped kitchen and Nespresso machine with capsules provided. The decoration is very pleasant, wooded and subdued. The floor heating reinforces the warmth of the place.
In front of the bed, you can enjoy a bubble bath with light therapy. To complete the wellness area, you also have a sauna with soft light and the possibility of connecting with your smartphone to add the musical atmosphere of your choice.
In the morning, a delicious breakfast included in the price of the reservation is served from 8.30 am in front of your suite door. On the menu: homemade yoghurt, freshly squeezed juice, homemade jams, freshly baked breads and pastries, cold meats and cheeses from the region.
A catering service is available in the evening, with a local menu for example, priced at €40 per person. A wine and beer list is available for daytime or evening use. There are also a number of restaurants nearby. Here are our top 3: Le Patton in Manhay, Le Cor de Chasse in Wéris and Le Karawa in Barvaux.
