The place is the brainchild of Tim and Toon, 2 passionate Belgian entrepreneurs who have been active in architecture and tourism for many years. Concerned about the scarcity of resources and the well-being of our planet, they came up with this innovative concept. The architecture is minimalist, designer and perfectly integrated into the environment.

Fancy something even more comfortable? You can also choose one of our 6 chalets. These are set in a large green estate, not far from the farm of the Magerotte family (one of Belgium's best butchers), who raise pigs in a high-quality environment.

From your chalet, you can watch the pigs graze peacefully. Rest assured, the spaces are vast and there is little, if any, olfactory nuisance.

The chalets have been designed using barnwood, wood salvaged from previously demolished stables, combined with large bay windows, allowing you to sleep and eat under the stars. You'll have all the comforts you need: kitchenette, dining area, sitting area with wood-burning stove, shower, toilet, sleeping area and outdoor barbecue when the weather's fine.

For your meals, you can order a boxed meal inspired by the recipes of chef Toon De Bock. The meat comes from the Magerotte butcher's shop. You can cook it inside the chalet or on the barbecue outside. A vegetarian box is also available. In the morning, a tasty breakfast basket is left for you (optional) with apple juice, artisanal honey and other local products.

During the development of this project, the short circuit was widely favored, as were local skills, reusability, the absence of single-use plastics, natural products and seasonal foods. The homes are heated by a wood-burning stove, which can also be used for cooking. Wood is harvested locally.

The 6 cabins are located in the woods, a stone's throw from Marche-en-Famenne in the Ardennes. You're between the Ourthe and Lesse valleys. There are many interesting villages to discover: Durbuy, Rochefort and Nassogne in particular. The 6 cottages are located about 15 km from the cabins, near Nassogne, in an undulating landscape of forests, grassy meadows and vast fields.
