One of our first partners

Le Fruit du Chêne one of Let's Go My Love's first partners! We visited it in 2021 and returned in 2026 to spend a whole night there. Despite the unpredictable weather, we absolutely loved it. It's the perfect hideaway, tucked away from prying eyes. The place is very popular, so try to book as far in advance as possible.

Autonomous arrival

The place is located at the end of a cul-de-sac. The setting is very pleasant: on high ground, almost in the woods. There is free private parking on site. You can enter the chalet independently, without encountering anyone. There is a key box at the bottom of the stairs.

Le Fruit du Chêne a place designed for romantic getaways. The wood-paneled interior is very cozy and you immediately feel at home. Inside, you will find the following amenities: a small kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook, a dining room, a bedroom, and a bathroom with a large walk-in shower and complimentary toiletries.

What we love when it's raining or cold: Netflix on the TV, the gas stove, and blankets available near the entrance.

Outside, the hot tub sits proudly on the terrace, waiting for you. You can enjoy it whatever the temperature outside (and whatever the season), as it is always heated and ready to use!

The view from the hot tub is spectacular, especially at sunset. Consider bringing a book so you can relax in the sun on the deck chairs and enjoy the view.

Le Fruit du Chêne offers Le Fruit du Chêne the option of ordering breakfast directly from Juste un moment or Les doux ragots for €45 for two people, delivered directly to your chalet. Sweet? Savory? Both? There are several packages and options to suit everyone's tastes. Don't forget to book at least 48 hours in advance.

A cozy retreat just 20 minutes from Durbuy

Le Fruit du Chêne located in Hamoir, about 20 minutes from Durbuy and 40 minutes from Liège. Durbuy is an absolutely charming medieval town. Stroll through the old town with its stone houses, small craft shops, and lively terraces. Climb up to the Belvédère viewpoint overlooking the town and the Ourthe valley. The view at sunset is superb.

Nearby, discover the small village of Wéris, famous for its high concentration of dolmens and menhirs. This fascinating place is steeped in ancient legends. For example, it is said that these megaliths were once used for rituals dedicated to fairies and nature spirits.

If you are looking for a good restaurant in the area, the gourmet restaurant Sophie et Nicolas is only a 5-minute drive away. The menus are inspired by the traditional Japanese solar calendar. The dining experience is simply wonderful and the staff are lovely. Important: the restaurant is open for lunch and dinner on Mondays, Fridays, and Sundays, and only for dinner on Thursdays and Saturdays.

Another idea: La Maison Thaï, a 10-minute drive away. On the menu: Tom Ka Kay soup (delicious!), papaya salad, or the classic Phad Thai: stir-fried rice noodles, egg, cashews, spring onions, with scampi, beef, or chicken.
