Ecau Lodge is a fantastic natural estate with 16 comfortable lodges located in Écaussinnes, between Mons and Brussels, 30 minutes from Pairi Daiza in Belgium. Some lodges are equipped with a bathtub or Norwegian bath on the terrace. Ecau Lodge was launched by Birgit and Jean-Philippe, a very friendly and welcoming couple!

Prices start at €119 per night for 2 people, with a sliding scale if you stay longer. No hidden costs like sheets, towels or cleaning: everything is included.

When you arrive, there's always someone on hand to welcome you and even show you around the lodge if you wish. Communication can be in French, Dutch or English. Dogs are allowed at a small extra charge. Don't forget to specify that you're coming with your companion when you make your reservation!
There are 16 fully-equipped wooden lodges on the estate. Depending on the lodge you choose, you'll enjoy the following facilities: bedroom with sometimes bathtub (and balls for the bath), king-size bed, kitchenette, bathroom with shower, toilet, sitting area, pellet stove, plaids if it's a bit chilly, covered outdoor terrace and Norwegian bath in one of the lodges. Note: there is no wifi.
What we particularly like: each lodge has its own covered terrace, overlooking a different part of the estate, so your privacy is always respected.
In the morning, it's a real pleasure to wake up to the croaking of frogs and the chirping of birds, especially when you're used to living in a noisy place. Here, everything is quiet and pleasant.
There are no meals provided, but you'll find plenty of quality shops in the vicinity: bakeries, 3 supermarkets, delicatessens and numerous brasseries.
Ecau Lodge is located in Hainaut, in Écaussinnes, the city of love. Don't miss Pairi Daiza, about 30 minutes away, voted Europe's best zoo several times over. There's plenty to do in the region. We recommend a visit to the Château de Seneffe and its carefully manicured park, which is accessible free of charge. There is a charge for visiting the castle (from €5), but it's well worth the detour!
