The special soul ofhôtel de l'Abbaye is due to the meeting between the French decorator Michel Boyer and Gisèle and Pierre-Antoine Lafortune, the original owners of the place, who decided in the 1990s to transform this unspoilt place into a hotel.
The hotel has 44 rooms with a surface area between 14 and 44m² and a romantic atmosphere. The soundproofing is remarkable. The tones used are in pinks, blues, yellows, beiges and reds, with floral and geometric patterns. Each room has a marble bathroom with a bathtub and welcome products from the pioneering French perfume house, Diptyque.
The inner courtyard, hidden behind the lounge, reveals a garden lined with ivy climbing up the facades of neighbouring buildings. This peaceful terrace with its typically Parisian charm is one of the most popular addresses in the neighbourhood. The delicate mix of colourful and unusual fabrics adorns the wrought iron furniture in the garden. We love it!
Facing the garden, the lounge offers an idyllic setting from breakfast to dinner. The menu includes classic French and Mediterranean cuisine, snacks, tasty desserts and delicious cocktails prepared by Denis. At the end of the day, enjoy a glass of champagne by the fireplace.
The staff of the Hôtel de l'Abbaye is dedicated to making your stay unique: Mimi, the room manager for the past 12 years, Caroline, the manager, or Denis, the head bartender, who gives the hotel a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
