L'hôtel des Arts Montmartre is a lovely 4* hotel perched on the mound of Paris's most famous district, Montmartre, just 10 minutes from the Sacré-Coeur. This hotel is a real Let's Go My Love favorite, as the team is absolutely adorable and brilliantly recreates the magic of Paris. Every detail has been thought of.

Our stay
We were lucky enough to stay here (in room n°41 with private balcony and view over the rooftops of Paris) and had an absolutely perfect night. This is without doubt our favorite hotel in Paris. The one we can easily recommend without any risk of making a mistake.
Why we love this hotel

- A multitude of little touches
- The hotel is suitable for everyone: young and old, locals and tourists alike.
- Existing online reviews are almost unanimous
- Room impeccably prepared and clean on arrival
- Private hammam for a wellness session at the end of the day
- Reception open all night
- The vintage cinema just opposite the hotel is the icing on the cake
The arrival
On arrival, you immediately get a good feeling. The person at reception smiles and greets you cheerfully. The lobby is richly decorated, there are photos of the elegantly dressed team, fresh flowers on the tables and a good scent. Signs that you can't go wrong.
The rooms
The hotel offers 49 charmingly decorated rooms, each featuring a different artist's work. Depending on your choice, rooms range in size from 10m² to 16m² for the largest, with divinely comfortable bedding, bath or shower, desk and, often, a breathtaking view over the rooftops of Paris.
Some of our favorite rooms:
1 • Double Room • Photo • ☀️
2 • Superior Room • Photo • ⛪️
3 • Room with a View • Photo • 🗼
4 • Deluxe Room • Photo • 🏙️
5 • Superior Courtyard Room • Photo • 🌳
The room is impeccably prepared on arrival: spotlessly clean, welcome buttons on the desk, coffee machine with capsules, fresh water, welcome champagne if you're celebrating a special occasion (never guaranteed, but often the case), bathroom door ajar, balcony door ajar, good smell and subtle lighting.
When booking, please specify that you would like a romantic room on a high floor, with a private balcony and a view over the rooftops of Paris. There are only 2 rooms of this type, which makes them very precious. Also say you're celebrating a special occasion. To increase your chances of getting a good room, we advise you to book early and avoid Fridays and Saturdays.
Breakfast
Every morning, a buffet breakfast is served between 7 and 10 a.m. and costs €24 per person. On the menu: fresh bread from the Alexine bakery, pastries, cakes, cereals, cold meats, cheeses, bacon, fruit salad, smoked salmon, fruit juices, eggs, scrambled eggs, yoghurts and great coffee.
The spa
A wellness area with hammam is available in the basement for a real relaxation session in the heart of Paris. The price is €40 for 30 minutes. Shower right next door and music in relaxation mode. It's entirely private during the session. There's also a well-maintained gym.
Location
The hotel is ideally located on the hill of Montmartre, just 10 minutes from Sacré-Cœur, in the Abbesses district. It's our favorite neighborhood in Paris. It's the one you see on postcards and in movies. There is a lightness in the air, an almost palpable carefreeness, as if time were passing gently by. Cobbled streets wind between pastel-colored facades, revealing at every turn a shaded terrace, a bakery with intoxicating aromas, or a hidden art gallery.
Nearby, we love the "Wall of I Love You" covering one wall of Jehan-Rictus Square on Place des Abbesses. It is a mural measuring approximately 40m² composed of 612 glazed lava tiles displaying 311 "I love you" messages in 250 languages, including some rare and forgotten ones. The red splinters represent the pieces of a broken heart just waiting to be put back together.
We've found an excellent address tucked away at the foot of Sacré-Cœur for a good lunch or dinner: Lamarck. A real gem, far from the tourist hustle and bustle.
And don't miss the prettiest old cinema in Paris, right opposite the hotel: Studio 28. A single room with real red armchairs and an incredible charm. A concentrate of the Paris you've been waiting for, hoping for and dreaming about...
And how! It's magnificently suited to couples and located in the most romantic district of Paris. The hotel offers a variety of packages to enhance your stay: anniversary, tête à tête or romantic.
Breakfast is available as an optional extra at €24 per person.
Yes, the hotel has private parking nearby at a cost of €19 per day.
Prices start at around €180 per night for 2 people.
TheHôtel des Arts allows arrival from 3pm and departure until 12 noon.
No, pets are not allowed.
The nearest tourist attractions are the Sacré-Coeur, the Moulin Rouge and the Je t'aime Wall.
We tried out and loved a little restaurant down the road: Le Matré. Very small menu, great atmosphere and very friendly staff.
