Reviews
Couples are very positive about the hotel, praising in particular the high quality welcome provided by the multilingual staff (French, English, Spanish, Arabic and Bengali) and the atmosphere that reigns throughout the hotel. The location is also often mentioned: you're in a very quiet street.
The rooms
The hotel is located in a 19th century building and has 25 rooms and suites around a secret garden. Most of the furniture has been found in flea markets here and elsewhere. It is very authentic. Each room has been custom-designed with the aim of offering you a real peaceful sobriety. Watch this video on Tiktok to immerse yourself in the atmosphere.

On the top floor, the duplex suites offer breathtaking views of the roofs of Paris.
Breakfast
In the morning, baguettes and viennoiseries are placed hot on the wooden tables. Breakfast is optional and costs €19 per person. On the menu: a selection of breads and baguettes from Alexine's, jams, Montmartre honey, Kodama organic tea, fresh fruit juice, scrambled eggs, charcuterie and cheese from La Jurasserie.
A French bistro-style restaurant
For meals, head to La Table d'Aristide, where French cuisine is served in sublime vintage crockery on red and white checkered tablecloths. On the menu: eggs with gomasio mayonnaise, roasted sea bass with spring onions, asparagus and baby carrots. Then, for dessert, a delicious chocolate mousse...
Le Café Aristide
For a drink for two, settle into Café Aristide, where mixologists infuse their own aromas to create surprising cocktails with notes of pandan, tonka, yuzu or carob.
Ecological commitment
The hotel has been designed with the desire to contribute to a more responsible world. Some examples of concrete actions: new objects are used very sparingly, the terrazzo floor of the restaurant is designed from materials from the demolition, photovoltaic panels are used to provide energy, etc.
Location
The location is ideally situated on the hill of Montmartre, just 10 minutes from Sacré-Cœur, in the Abbesses neighborhood. It's our favorite neighborhood in Paris. It's the one you see on postcards and in movies. There is a lightness in the air, an almost palpable carefreeness, as if time were slipping by gently. Cobbled streets wind between pastel-colored facades, revealing at every turn a shaded terrace, a bakery with intoxicating aromas, or a hidden art gallery.
Nearby, we love the "Wall of Love" covering one wall of Jehan-Rictus Square on Place des Abbesses. It is a mural measuring approximately 40 square meters, composed of 612 glazed lava tiles displaying 311 declarations of love in 250 languages, including some rare and forgotten ones. The splashes of red scattered across the fresco represent pieces of a broken heart which, when put together, form a whole heart.
We've found an excellent address tucked away at the foot of Sacré-Cœur for a good lunch or dinner: Lamarck. A real gem, far from the tourist hustle and bustle.
PS: thanks to brilliant photographer Benoît Linero for the photos above, which so aptly capture the oriental atmosphere on site. Check out his Instagram, it's worth a look.
