The arrival

At Le Chouchou, the staff are super-friendly and always in a good mood, which is sometimes a rarity in the French capital. The team speaks several languages, including French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian and Arabic.

The rooms

The hotel has 63 rooms ranging in size from 14 m² to 46 m², with certain features depending on the room: balcony, bath, large shower or breathtaking view of the Opera House. All rooms feature parquet flooring, artistic touches, music speakers, high-quality bedding and bathrooms with showers, Japanese toilets and pleasantly scented towels. The soundproofing is perfect!

Breakfast

The delicious breakfast is served between 7am and 10am and consists of mostly French, ethical and responsible products. On the menu: pastries, breads, cheeses, cold cuts and fresh fruit. A gluten-free option is available. You can have it in your room on request or under the hotel's charming glass roof.

The guinguette restaurant

Among the other must-sees at Le Chouchou are the food market, which offers seasonal produce to be enjoyed at lunchtime and in the evening on one of the large wooden tables, the guinguette bar and its central stage, which offers cocktails and market delicacies in a light and festive atmosphere and, finally, Tuesdays with oysters for €1 for lovers.

Looking to relax? Discover Le Chouchou's 3 private baths, where you and your partner can unwind in a hushed ambience with a seventies twist. Each bath features a private Jacuzzi, a relaxation area and a sensory shower. Other options include map , a bottle of champagne, beverage service and pleasant music. We love it.

Right next to the Opéra Garnier

Le Chouchou is strategically located close to the Opéra Garnier and Galeries Lafayette. The Musée Grévin and the Jardin des Tuileries are also close by. The Louvre Museum is just a 15-minute walk away.

We have a great suggestion for a walk right nearby. It starts at 10 Rue Saint-Marc and takes you through three charming covered arcades in succession: the Passage des Panoramas, which ends at Boulevard Montmartre; the Passage Jouffroy, which ends at Rue de la Grande Batelière; and finally the Passage Verdeau, which ends at Rue du Faubourg Montmartre.

If you’d like to have a drink at the end of the evening, we have a great suggestion: the tiny cocktail bar at the hotel Château Voltaire right nearby: La Coquille d'or. The place is hidden behind a secret door... The atmosphere there is deeply enchanting and romantic. For us, it’s without a doubt the most romantic bar in Paris.
