Our experience
We had the opportunity to visit almost all the rooms as well as the breakfast room. We also took the time to walk around the hotel so we could write this review as accurately as possible.
You'll receive a warm welcome at reception. The staff are particularly friendly. Special mention to Mariska, who is just adorable. You can check in as early as 2pm. Dogs are accepted at an additional cost of €20 per night. Many of our guests return faithfully and share the address with their families.
Do you need a private shuttle during your stay? The hotel offers its own high-end service, with its own drivers and vehicles. Here is a photo of one of the vehicles. They can take care of your transfers to and from all train stations and airports. They can also be used for sightseeing trips.

Our advice
1. There are 2 rooms on the first floor, 1 of which is wheelchair accessible. They are close to reception and therefore noisier.
2. If you prefer peace and quiet, we recommend rooms on a higher floor.
3. Of the 20 rooms, 5 are on the corner of the building. These are the brightest because they have 2 bay windows.
4. Of the 20 rooms, 6 have private balconies. They are located on the 4th and 5th floors.
5. Room n°500 on the top floor is the only one with a view of the Pantheon, and also has 2 private balconies. A great choice if you're celebrating a special occasion.
Breakfast under the vaulted ceilings
Every morning, a delicious breakfast buffet is served from 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. in the beautiful stone-vaulted dining room.
On the menu: fresh bread, pastries, hot beverages, fruit juice, cereal, fresh fruit, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, fruit compote, and eggs prepared to your liking.
Île Saint-Louis
Hôtel Saint-Louis-en-l'Isle is tucked away in the heart of Paris, on Île Saint-Louis in the 4th arrondissement, just a few minutes' walk from Notre-Dame. The island is like a village frozen in time, with picturesque alleyways and numerous artisanal stores. The location is perfect, with the Latin Quarter 10 minutes to the south (and Saint-Germain) and the Marais Quarter 10 minutes to the north.
Good to know: there are only 4 hotels on the island, which makes it all the more exclusive. The Saint-Louis-en-l'Isle is the best of the 4 hotels (in our opinion), as it's the closest to Notre-Dame and the best-rated.
