We've found an excellent address tucked away at the foot of Sacré-Cœur for a good lunch or dinner: Lamarck. A real gem, far from the tourist hustle and bustle.
Nearby, we also like the Mur des je t'aime occupying a wall in Square Jehan-Rictus, on Place des Abbesses. This 40m² mural is made up of 612 glazed lava tiles reproducing 311 "I love you's" in 250 languages, some of them rare and forgotten. The splinters of red that dot the fresco represent the pieces of a broken heart that, when put together, form a heart.
