Sweet 61 is an enchanting private suite located in Esneux, in the Liège region of Belgium. The place opened in 2024 and all the facilities are brand new! You can book the suite for 3 hours during the day, or for a traditional overnight stay. It's the perfect choice for a romantic getaway.
Mention Let's Go My Love when booking and a bottle of bubbles will be offered as a gift on arrival. Feel free to ask for a non-alcoholic bottle if you prefer.
If you book from Sunday to Thursday and celebrate a birthday, you'll benefit from the included romantic package. Send a photo of your identity card when booking to benefit from this advantage. Important: the date of your birthday must be the same as the day of arrival. And it's only valid if you arrive between Sunday and Thursday.
The romantic package normally costs €80 and includes: a second bottle of your choice, candles throughout the suite, a personalized welcome note, your choice of welcome music, rose petals and a bouquet of flowers.
The owner of the suite is Eric, and we're in constant contact with him. Together with his wife Stéphanie, they decided to create this romantic cocoon to make their passion for travel a reality.
We had the opportunity to spend an extremely pleasant night here. What we liked best: the very good overall impression, the slightly vintage style, the calm in the suite, the impeccable cleanliness, the quality of the equipment, the little welcome note on the table and the vintage armchairs in the living room. A real favorite!
Prices start at €200 per night from Sunday to Thursday, and €160 for a 3-hour daytime session from 12:30 to 3:30 pm. On Fridays and Saturdays, the price is a little higher: 250€ per night.
On-site parking and a private entrance to the suite are available. The building is fully secured. Entrance is by code, but you can also request that someone be present to show you how the equipment works.
Once inside, you'll discover a comfortable, cocooning suite. The atmosphere is subdued, in shades of brown and black. There are plenty of lamps everywhere. You'll feel right at home. On the large TV, you have access to numerous movies free of charge, without having to connect to your own Netflix or Prime account.
You have the following equipment at your disposal:
- Fully equipped kitchen with Nepresso coffee machine (capsules supplied)
- Bedroom with king-size Boxsprings bedding, Sleeping House mattress and 100% cotton or 100% natural linen sheets (you can specify your preference when booking)
- Lounge area with Smart TV, 2 comfortable vintage leather armchairs, pellet stove, comfortable animal hide floor and Spotify audio system with wall-mounted tablet and 2 Bluetooth speakers
- Designer bathroom with walk-in shower and Rituals toiletries (towels and bathrobes provided)
- XXL whirlpool bath with small shelf for your smartphone and TV series
- Wooden infrared sauna
- Ecological candles throughout the suite
- Massage table
- Air conditioning
- Small green terrace with private swimming pool (June to September)
Tip: if you light the pellet stove in the evening, try to switch it off at least 1 hour before going to bed, as there is still a slight blowing noise after switching it off, which eventually stops.
In the morning, breakfast can be booked in advance at a cost of €35 for 2 people (sweet) and €42 for 2 people (savory). On the menu: freshly squeezed orange juice, tea, coffee, pastries, fresh rolls, yoghurts, crêpes and other delicacies.
There are extras: wine, champagne, cava, softs and aperitif plates waiting for you in the kitchen fridge. For a moment of pampering, Éric sells bottles of organic orange blossom massage oil for 15€. During your stay, you can also rent 2 electric bikes for €40 per day.
Sweet 61 is located near Esneux, in the Liège region of Belgium. Liège is 15 minutes away, Maastricht 30 minutes and Brussels 1 hour. If the weather's fine, we recommend buying an ice cream on the square in Tilff, a charming little town on the banks of the Ourthe. It's only 5 minutes away by car.
