The Warszauer Hotel is a 4* mineral boutique hotel located in the kazimierz district of Krakow, Poland. It's one of our favorite hotels in the historic center. The materials are of the highest quality, the interior design is very well thought-out, and what can we say about the breakfast? Simply exceptional!
We recommend that you book your stay at the Warszauer Hotel via Booking.com, which often offers free cancellation. Send us a message on Instagram if you go, it would make us super happy.
We had the opportunity to spend a night here during our stay in Krakow. Of all the hotels we tested, this one is unquestionably in our top 3. Many of the hotels here are sometimes unintentionally too extreme: too kitschy, too downmarket or too luxurious, for example. This one is much more balanced, and the attention to detail is quite impressive.
Only 10 rooms are available. Depending on your choice, you'll enjoy the following amenities: queen or king-size bedding, private bathroom, welcome products from Diptyque (the best of the best!), invigorating rain shower, high-quality designer furniture, meticulous soundproofing and air conditioning.
The hotel's interior design is mineral, minimalist and absolutely charming. Many works by Polish artist Tomasz Opaliński are on display, both in the bedrooms and in the dining room. Look out for the Zig Zag or Wassily chairs (one of the 10 most important chairs of the 20th century) in your room. We also love armchairs by Danish brand Gubi.
The dining room is undoubtedly the room where you feel most at home. It's the room in which we enjoy taking a break, lulled by an excellent musical play-list. The program includes a large communal wooden table, subtle lighting, magazines to browse through, homemade cake all day long and an unlimited coffee machine. Coffee to go.
In the morning, this is where you have your à la carte breakfast. And what a breakfast it is! Without a doubt the best of our stay in Krakow. Everything is so good, fresh and lovingly prepared. It's almost embarrassing for other hotels. Mind you, it's not a buffet: you choose what you want from the menu and it's often Kasia who brings your order to the table.
On the menu: squeezed orange juice, eggs benedict, local sausages, seasonal omelette, vegetarian plate, homemade porridge, pancakes, scrambled eggs on toast, shakshuka and a fabulous pistachio croissant. We tried the homemade porridge and the vegetarian plate... Divine!
The Warszauer Hotel is located on a very quiet street in Kazimierz, Krakow's Jewish quarter. The facade is an immediate eye-catcher, as is the enchanting front door. Take the time to explore the surrounding area, which is rich in history. If you fancy a drink, we have a soft spot for this very secret bar just a 5-minute walk away: Eszeweria. The eclectic atmosphere is worthy of a storybook. Here's a photo to whet your appetite...
We're a young team whose mission is to find the most beautiful places for a romantic escape. It could be a secret hotel, a unique hideway or a cabin in the woods, for example. Our blog is already home to over 300 exceptional spots in a rare collection. Follow us on Instagram and TikTok if you like this content, and enjoy your visit.
