A fascinating fortress
The fascinating history of the hotel, formerly Przegorzały Castle, dates back to the 1st half of the 20th century. It was then under construction by Polish architect Adolf Szyszko-Bohusz, also chief curator of Wawel Castle in central Krakow. He drew his inspiration for this sublime fortress from the romantic castles of the Rhine.

A word of advice when booking: ask for an upstairs room, at the far end of the château if possible, for greater peace and quiet.

When you wake up, enjoy a delicious breakfast in your room or on the terrace, weather permitting. Breakfast is served buffet style, and you can also order à la carte dishes. Special mention should be made of the walnut brownie.
The restaurant and its terraces
For lunch or dinner, don't miss the ZIYAD restaurant, which spans the castle's terraces and arcades. Stone vaults, noble woods and luxurious details create an atmosphere worthy of a royal palace. On the menu, tasty cuisine perfected over 35 years: Polish beef, lamb, steaks, seafood, fresh fish... Try the fillet of beef, for example, served with white onion, potato gratin and truffle demi-glace.
The spa
Carved into the rock, with a modern yet intimate atmosphere, the spa is a must-see. It features a large swimming pool, a sauna, a stone bath inspired by the purifying ritual of the hammam, and three intimate massage rooms, one of which is perfect for couples' treatments and massages.

Zinar Castle lies in the heart of the Wolski Forest, in a rare environment, just 15 minutes by car and 35 min by bus from Wawel Castle and Krakow's historic center. You're less than 10 min by car from the Kościuszko mound, an artificial hill surrounded by Gothic fortifications, symbol of Polish independence. A visit is highly recommended!
