The arrival

When you arrive, you'll discover a place of rare poetry: the enchanting park between forest and river, the old stones of the manor house, the hydrangeas, the surrounding wall and the ivy-covered tower that burst into bloom in early autumn. Like an Impressionist painting.

A former hunting lodge

The manor house was originally a hunting lodge. Over the years, it has evolved into a grand seigneurial estate, a family property, a farm and even a holiday home. It's hard to put into words, but there's a real soul here. The spiral staircase in the square tower leading to the bedrooms is over 500 years old. Don't miss the lounge-library with mezzanine and wood panelling.

Located in the former stables, they can comfortably accommodate two people and feature a fully equipped kitchen and more space. They are available for weekly rentals during the summer season. During the rest of the year, a minimum stay of two nights is required.

Depending on the gîte you choose, you'll enjoy the following facilities: 1 or 2 bedrooms, French-made king-size bed, comfortable living room, open-plan kitchen, Smart TV and private outdoor terrace.

Breakfast

In the morning, enjoy breakfast in bed or under the apple trees in the garden with the birds singing. On the menu: baguettes, croissants, pains au chocolat with local salted butter, jam made with fruit from the garden, freshly squeezed orange juice, homemade crêpes or Sophie's delicious far breton with prunes. A real moment of sweetness to start the day!

Wellness areas

In the garden, relax by the heated outdoor swimming pool. Sophie and Dominique have also created a relaxation area with a wood-fired sauna and Nordic bath overlooking the Breton countryside. Please note: both operate with a wood-burning stove, which must be lit a few hours before the start of the session.

The Manoir du Vau d'Arz is located in Malansac, 30 minutes from the beaches of the Gulf of Morbihan, 1 hour from Nantes and 2h30 from Paris by train.
