La Villa Douce is one of the finest 4* hotels in the Gulf of Saint-Tropez. It is located on the heights of Le Rayol Canadel Sur Mer, an unspoilt village in the Var region, just 2 km from the beach. The hotel has been selected by the Michelin Guide. Manager Caroline Thétiot is particularly committed to making your stay as pleasant as possible.
We recommend you book your stay at Villa Douce via Booking.com, which often offers free cancellation. Send us a postcard if you go, we'd love it.
The hotel's 31 rooms and suites are divided into 5 categories: standard, superior, junior suite, prestige suite and flat suite. Depending on the room, you will enjoy the following facilities: a surface area of between 20m² and 70m², a king size bed with a high quality mattress, a private balcony or terrace facing south with a 180° panoramic view of the Mediterranean Sea, an Italian shower and Rituals bath products.
Outside, enjoy the superb swimming pool, heated to 27° until mid-November and offering panoramic views of the infinite blue and golden islands. Here's a song that (we think) epitomizes the view and the experience here!
Every morning, Le Club Papillon welcomes you for a breakfast of rare quality, including a sweet and savoury buffet, organic or gluten-free products, muffins, eggs, various breads, cheeses, homemade cakes or delicious lemon cake. Room service is available for an additional €8 per person.
For your lunch and dinner, the Café l'Envol offers you a light cuisine with Mediterranean flavours. A wide variety of dishes concocted by the chef Zivorad Markovic and his second Benicourt Valentin who can count on their aromatic garden in the domain: basil, mint, tomato bunch and many others.
At sunset, enjoy a quiet drink, either on the terrace of Club Papillon or on the shady terrace of Café l'Envol.
The Gulf of Saint-Tropez is full of small coves located on preserved sites where it is good to laze around. Le Rayol alone has 5 fine sandy beaches: the Rayol beach, the Canadel beach, the Pramousquier beach, the Pointe du Figuier and the Anse du petit port. The village is also a haven of peace on the Riviera. Stroll along the cornices and admire the sumptuous villas built during the Roaring Twenties.
