Château Pimo is a hidden gem hotel tucked away just minutes from Draguignan, in the Haut-Var region, right in the heart of Provence. It's a 19th-century building with a heated pool, offering incredible peace and quiet, and only 5 rooms. We actually stayed there, and we'll tell you all about it below.
Reservation
We recommend booking your stay at Chateau Pimo via Booking.com, which often offers free cancellation. Send us a message on Instagram if you go, it would make us super happy.
A real discovery
We stayed here for 2 nights, and it wasn't planned at all! We regularly travel to Provence to meet our partners, but Château Pimo was a total spur-of-the-moment discovery. We believed in the project so much that we finally decided to feature it on Let's Go My Love.
The place opened in April 2025 and everything is still brand new. The advantage? You can sleep there for a relatively low price, which is set to rise over the next few years. This is what we call a find in our jargon: a little-known place with very promising first reviews and a price that's still reasonable.
By car, you'll reach the estate via 767 Chemin de la Garrigue. It's a peaceful country road lined with olive trees. Once you pass through the gate, get ready to be amazed by the hotel's majestic facade. Private parking is available for you.
The hosts are Sibylle and Fabien. A very complementary couple. Fabien looks after guests with a real sense of hospitality (not too intrusive, not too distant, sense of humor, professionalism) while Sibylle, sunny and refined, did the interior design and has a golden address book in the region. She can recommend the best restaurants, addresses and activities.
A cozy interior
The interior design is worthy of a 5-star hotel. Combining contemporary comfort with period character, the noble materials embody the soul of the place and blend beautifully with the wall frescoes and Victorian moldings.
Make yourself comfortable in the lounge, put on some music, watch the pool through the large picture window and enjoy a glass of wine in the honesty bar. We recommend you discover the wines of Domaine du Dragon in Draguignan.
Here are the 5 rooms:

Depending on the room you choose, you will benefit from the following amenities: king-size or queen-size bed, exceptional bedding, Garnier-Thiebaut sheets, bathroom with whirlpool bath, freestanding bath or shower, bathrobe, hairdryer, iron, air conditioning, safe and Wi-Fi.
Life in the castle
When the weather's nice, make yourself comfortable by the pool and feel that feeling of disconnection come over you. You can't hear a sound. You're in the heart of a garden scented with lavender, myrtle and rosemary.
During the day, also enjoy the wellness area in the old washhouse (opposite the swimming pool) with sauna, hammam, ice shower, massage room and sensory shower.
In the early morning, breakfast is served in the dining room. It is included in the reservation. Local and refined products. On the menu: assortment of fresh bread, pastries, brioches, cereals, fresh fruit, eggs from the castle's chickens, yogurt, fruit juices, teas, coffees, and fruit juices.
For dinner, Fabien can order for you from the restaurant Les 3 Garçons, just a few minutes' drive away. He fetches the dishes for you and sets up a pretty table in the place of your choice. Lots of truffle dishes and a really extra black pudding. Service is charged at 20% of the bill.
If you'd rather eat out, Sibylle is happy to share her best addresses and can even book a table for you.
Want to organize a surprise for your partner? Feel free to mention this when booking and ask for ideas. For example, The Perfect Day Events can organize a magical dinner in an unusual location in the region. No need for a venue, no need to stress: whether by the pool, in the garden, or in a lavender field, they will set your table in a unique and poetic way.
When it's time to check out, feel free to leave your luggage in the car and extend your stay a little longer. Although your room is no longer accessible, you are welcome to enjoy the lounge, bar, and pool.
